My local Fall 2017 Wizkids Open tournament is slated for November 11th which is only a week and some change away! Super excited to get my first ID card since all participants are going to be given the Colossus ID.
The event organizers were really hoping that the Gotham Girls set would have been released in time to use that set for the sealed format, but it sounds like they've given up on that happening and instead have resigned to using The Mighty Thor.
My question is what pieces in the set perform well in a sealed format. I'm hoping I pull Thorbuster for sure since the set is full of Asgardians, and I've had good luck with Pluto in sealed games before.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Also just Thena and Makkari as team with some filler is good.
Yea Makkari is pretty killer, I bought a brick when TMT was released and got a Makkari already so I hope I pull something else, but I could always trade him afterwords.

Don't count out Troll. She is a rare and amazing at what she does. 60 points you simply can't ignore because she goes anywhere and shreds
With only 6 pieces in TMT with stealth; and of those 6 most are either Primes, SuperRare, or Chases; I don't think I'll get much use out of her stealth-busting trait. But even without that, her Special Charge with Exploit-BCF is gonna really do some damage.

Don't think of it as stealth busting, thing of it as Improved Targeting. There are a good number of high defenses in the set. taking away the +1 from hindering can be a huge boon, regardless of stealth.
Zarrko The Tomorrow Man it's really good in sealed format, being capable of use PC without line of fire and range on any figure with the "Asgardian" keyword is game changing.
tmt043 Zarrko, The Tomorrow Man

(Special) Time Cube: At the beginning of your turn, choose one: you may generate a Time marker in Zarrko, The Tomorrow Man's square -or- place him into another square with a Time marker, heal him 1 click, then remove that Time marker from the map.
(Damage) To Stop Thor, The Future Tyrant: Probability Control. When Zarrko, The Tomorrow Man uses it, he can target characters with the Asgardian keyword regardless of range or line of fire.
