I want to like Robotman but he is just missing something for his points. The Regeneration is great. However, if you wind up having to heal him up all the tie he offers little offensive capability. A stop click with free regeneration could justify the points.

How about either a starting 11 Attack or not half his Attacks at a 9? He's 110 points that half his clix have a 9 Attack and 16 Defense (sure, he can increase that by 1, but we know how that often works out). He's 90 points, easy. 110 is crazy.
yeah i think they really inflated his cost with the traited regen. his stats are mediocore at best and his powerset isn't especially exciting. the +1 defence is the only thing taking him up to a level near his point cost and an outwit does away with that along with most all of his utility pretty swiftly.
add to that his team ability that he shouldn't actually have and he's just a bit of a mishmash.
i would have much rather seen the defend/def +1 be the trait, regular invul on the first half of his dial and the regen power on the backhalf combined with toughness.
Utterly forgettable. Which is a real shame, because the JSA doesn't have too many heavy hitters in the 100 point range. Speaking of hitting heavy, this guy doesn't even do that, he can't even crack Invul. on the back half of his dial.
He's fun to play but even more interesting to me is that his significant appearance on the card is The Golden Age #1. That's an Elsewhere story where this Robotman is more interested in being a Robot than a human. It's one of the greatest Elsewhere stories out there and I encourage you to read it.
The possibility that we get any of the other characters from The Golden Age would be startling. And those of you who have read it know exactly who I'm talking about.
It would have been nice to have one of the flavor texts for this Robotman to have been: "Known always. Care not." One of the most chilling lines I've ever read in a comic book.
Team Mobilehorror were the proud purveyors of Print & Play from pre-NECA 2008 to 2015. A good ride while it lasted. Keep rollin' 8s .
