OK, I'm really glad they finally made Rusty and Skids. I would say that I even summoned them if their dials were a little better. But this has no damage reduction/ignoring ability. Skids's force field was such that she had trouble even turning it off! How does that equate to barrier that she can only use once every other turn without pushing? She should have some kind of souped-up impervious that she can share.
I do like the sidestep and ability to knock back/deflect other characters, but the lack of damage reduction really turns me off to this figure.
This figure was a lifesaver during a pre-release battle royale. That 18 Defend caught some opponents off guard and made my team so much more durable. I appreciate Defend as a way to use her powers to protect others, but I do think she should have had something else to better protect herself as a more accurate representation of her powers. Still, quite solid.
Win/Loss: 3-1 Skids is a solid support figure at a great cost. In the WKO, she was fantastic at knocking away tie-up figures while using that glorious defend. Interestingly, that 18 didn't hold as well as I would have expected - but that may have been just dumb-luck. The appearance of Force Blast is her best option rather than swinging with her meager attack value - unless there is a great reason to try and deal 1 damage (CCE to her attack). Ignoring characters for movement allowed her to position where ever she wanted, setting up that KB. I think she is a keeper.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
