he can be one shotted pretty damn easily by things in his point class. happened to me the only time i've played him. heavy object on 5 damage made him a pancake. and that was up close where his defence is strong, from range he's even easier to pick apart.

Everything can be oneshotted in the right circumstances. It's not like every single game your opponent's going to have a printed 5 damage and pick up a heavy object, man... and as soon as you see a character like that on an opponent's force, you should immediately protect your Wolvie, lol. But he's very, very strong.

and if this wolverine, who is taking up a huge chunk of the build in 300 points, needs protecting from something else in his weight class that bad he's not the best wolverine. not compared to the one that for 20 points more does a lot of the same stuff, is WAY harder to put down and is more of a team player.

the question was to prove this isn't the best wolverine and the fact that he's squishy enough that somebody a fraction of his points with a heavy object and a perplex could one shot him is pretty damning. 4 damage SS isn't uncommon on figures <100 these days. hell he could be taken out in a turn by 2 figures with RCE and 2 damage, and there ones of those in the game as low as 15 points. his complete lack of damage reduction is a huge problem for somebody as costly as he is in today's game and that's what makes him inferior to the XXS SR. his defence is meager at range and his reduction is non-existant. throw one big rock or enough pebbles at him and he'll fall. the other wolverine can at least stand up to the big rock a couple of times.

I can't really argue with someone who thinks "the best" is an objective truth. I think it's the best. You don't. Cool. Who cares.
