I definitely dig that Leader, even though I have no reading experience with his red incarnation (I'm just wondering when Red Abomination is gonna show up). Mind Over Matter makes him immensely and deceptively playable, which is exactly what the Leader should be. You wonder how he could ever pose a threat to someone like The Hulk, and then he somehow manages to do just that.
Is there supposed to be a special damage power as well, or is one of those traits the Damage Power?
Many thanks and "D'oh!" Dunno how I've made that mistake so many times throughout this set! I've made the adjustments!
While I love the Red Leader from the Mighty Thor set, I wanted to make something to felt a little closer to classic Leader (I couldn't begin to tell you how Red differs outside of palette) while giving a nod to Soule's contribution to the series. Soule's brief tenure on Thunderbolts wasn't bad... but it was still working with a rough team that didn't understand its characters.
Redbolts were such an embarrassing run, bad writing, bad art, poorly executed story arcs, etc, etc. The best thing to come out of it was the heroclix figures. Always wondered if it was suppose to be a Circle of Six or something. Such a shame the Cagebolts were cancelled for it.

Completely agree. Looking at the history of Thunderbolts, it seems like they were never exactly canceled so much as editorial suddenly decided upon big format changes which the comics either lived or died by.
-The original run died after someone greenlit the excellent-but-inappropriate Arcudi run.
-Parker-Bolts died when someone name/game changed it to "Dark Avengers" to capitalize on the first Avengers movie.
-Someone bafflingly greenlit Redbolts, which never found its identity
-And Jim Zub's BuckyBolts died when it was forced into cancellation to make room for Secret Empire.
I'm REALLY proud of this one. It looks like a wild dial, but I tried to make each click have really strong synergy with itself

Power Prism: Opposing characters within 5 spaces of Doctor Spectrum can’t use Standard Abilities with colors that match Standard abilities she currently has. Energy Constructs: At the beginning of your turn, choose a standard ability of a color not currently showing on Doctor Spectrum’s dial. Doctor Spectrum has that power until your next turn. The same power may not be picked twice in a row.
How to capture Techno, who's had a barrage of weirdness happen to him? He's been a robot. He's impersonated a guy with a borderline identical powerset. He killed a past version of himself and is technically lost in time and space.
Here's what I got.

Ogre, a True Machine, or Future Me?: (+5 points): Shape Change. (+10 points): Invulnerability. (+10 points): Probability Control. Epic Engineer: FREE. Choose one:
-Place a Light or Heavy Object Adjacent to Techno.
-Pick any standard Ability to last until the beginning of your next turn.
-Remove an object from an adjacent square and pick any two standard Abilities to last until your next turn. Techno may give one of those abilities to an adjacent character that shares a keyword with him.
EDIT: Updated10/08/18 as per feedback. Thanks, Dasaul29!

Oh boy! We need him soooo bad! Something feels off about his points, but man do I love the design! I would make him have a different power than shape change since you can purchase it through his trait. At the end of the day, i would take him anyway just because I want an update so much!
Winning the game means little if it is not with the characters that I would want to win!

Huge thanks, DaSaul29! Totally get where you’re coming from. How would you feel about changing the last two clicks to Perplex and dropping the base points to 50?

That would be awesome!

I like this one. you can technically have willpower unless your on click three. plus while on click three your opponent can't use willpower. is anyone else thinking chase?

Huge thanks and rep to both of you! I've updated the Techno dial with Perplex and a reduced point value, and I've added to Doctor Spectrum because how the hell did I forget.
In the planning stages of the set, I'd figured one piece per character, but once I started seeing the love for the characters and the lore... that changed. Never would've expected Norman Osborn to get more pieces than Baron Zemo, but here we are. Prepare to see a lot of this guy.
Also, this guy intentionally doesn't have loads of Leadership. You'll see why down the road.

Mentally Unraveling: At the beginning of your turn, roll a d6.
1-3, nothing happens.
4-5, -1 combat stats.
6, -1 combat stats & Earthbound/Neutralized. THE LIST: The highest-pointed opposing character has -1 Defense. Give Iron Patriot a Power Action. That character instead has -2 Defense.
I really dig that "Mentally Unravelling" trait. Norman's biggest enemies as Iron Patriot were his immense ego and his tenuous grasp on sanity, and this feels like a great way to homage that, not to mention that he's really susceptible to a good Outwit.
My single favorite Iron Patriot moment was when he tried to take down Spider-Man, but was severely damaged by a design flaw that he couldn't see but Spidey did and exploited. Spidey reasoned that the Unibeam reactor was shaped in either a circle or a pentagon for a reason, and plugged Norman's star unibeam reactor up with webs, leaving a haughty and overconfident Norman to try and burn through it, but instead destroying his own chest plate in the process.
This is a Norman who would totally destroy his own chest plate due to overlooking crucial details in his arrogance, and I like that.
ASK ME ONCE I’LL ANSWER TWICE JUST WHAT I KNOW I’LL TELL BECAUSE I WANNA!
SOUND DEVICE AND LOTS OF ICE I'LL SPELL MY NAME OUT LOUD BECAUSE I WANNA!
I like this iron patriot, too. Given that im a huge fan of the character, I hope that he would have a design to represent the vast array of resources from HAMMER, tbolts, dark avengers, the cabal, and initiative at his disposal.
He literally had the hero community on the run and in hiding. Not to mention being able to wage war against asgard. These resources is where his power and strength came from, as he was a novice with the armor which didn't even have repulsors.
EDIT: would be awesome if he had a trait that you could buy for "The List" when he had a hit list for his enemies. Could be like president lex Luthor's bounty trait.
Winning the game means little if it is not with the characters that I would want to win!
