Welcome back to another Causing a Scene-ario!

The long awaited Kingdom Hearts 3 is FINALLY about to release... just one week from now. I know a few of my players are fans of the series, so I want to do something based around it. Problem is, what?

One thought was a simple build restriction; your 3 main characters are Sora, Donald and Goofy. Donald is King Mickey's mage, and Goofy is a Captain of the Guard, who uses a shield in combat. So, that could mean you require a Mystical and a Soldier for them. Sora is a teenager, so you could require a teen to be your Sora.

This could work at 300 points and just have everyone duel with their 3-Person team. If you want to go bigger, and get creative, you could require some proxies. When you go to certain Worlds in Kingdom Hearts, you'll team up with certain Disney characters. In the first game, you can team with Jack Skellington, Peter Pan, Tarzan, Hercules, Aladdin, Beast and Ariel. Those should be easy enough to proxy. In the sequel, you're joined by Mulan, Jack Sparrow, Simba, and Tron. So that should give you a few options to broaden teams out.

If you wanted to go even MORE in depth, you could assign traits depending on what people build. Say someone wants to do a Monsters Inc team. You could give the player's Sora, Donald and Goofy the Monster keyword, since in that world they become monsters. Or Pirates if they went with a Jack Sparrow theme. Dolphin move for Ariel/Atlantica (Atlantis??). Monstro the whale even shows up, so your Gigantos kind of fit now! (Maybe I shouldn't have said that..).

Another option would be to allow a villains team: Maleficent, Hades, Jafar, Captain Hook, Oogie Boogie, Clayton and the Queen of Hearts all show up. Could be fun to go the evil route!

This would be so much easier if we could get a Kingdom Hearts set... or maybe a Square set and a Disney set... not that I would know about a Disney set

Friendship between Sora, Donald and Goofy is an important concept in the game. You could give bonuses when they are near, say within 3 squares. Maybe mimic the Star Trek TOS starter set's traits and have "Goofy" give them all +1 Defense, "Donald" +1 to Range and "Sora" gives +1 to Attack.

This would be a fun one to play in. In the game you can switch out Donald or Goofy for the hero of whatever world you're on. It'd be cool to run a scenario where you can have one or two slide lined characters that can switch out for your mage or soldier. Maybe the side lined characters have to have a certain keyword like pirate for Jack Sparrow or Robot for Tron. Or maybe holiday themed or monster keyword for Jack Skellington.

That would be a great idea if you were doing just the 3 of them.

You could do a modified Shifting Focus. Donald and Goofy each get the trait, and they have to have figures equal points to move around with... they just wouldn't have to be named the same.
