Assume a character has Outwit from a special power. He Outwits a target, but then in the next turn, he gets hit from that special power on to ordinary Outwit. Or do this the other way around, from normal onto special.

Is that target still affected by Outwit?

This came up recently in-game, and I blanked on the answer. :-(

Rulebook page 29:

"If a character has a special power that lets them use Perplex, and takes 2 damage and clicks its dial to standard Perplex, the special power is “lost.” It’s not the same power."
