at some point i now Mystics was "Unavoidable" Damage.... i guess i miss where it became "Penetrating" Damage... is this correct?

Yes, this is correct.

With the big round of rules updates with The Mighty Thor set this ability was adjusted to its current wording. Uncopyable was added at that time, as well.

And I still maintain that it was hit too hard with the changes. I'd be okay if it wasn't copyable. i'd be okay if it was now penetrating. but BOTH?! Too much.

100% agree, specifically with the uncopyable and still do unavoidable option. Especially since it feels like every team now has a brick with Invincible who can just clobber my mystics guy.

My suggestion: MYSTICS - At the beginning of the game choose one effect: 1. Each time this character takes damage from an opposing character's attack, after resolutions deal the attacker 1 unavoidable damage. Uncopyable or 2. Each time this character takes damage from an opposing character's attack, after resolutions deal the attacker 1 penetrating damage.

The idea is, if the mystic has to spread out his defensive spell, it becomes a bit weaker

i see link on that page that takes you to the WK forum with the Team Abilities listed. But no official "Card"

There's no physical card or anything. Just a list of all the TA's.

Penetrating I can tolerate. But preventing my Doctor Doom from copying it for his own purposes? Unacceptable.

Indeed. It also means my Thunderbolts can't all have Mystics! Sad.
