TRANSFORM: Hand Gun: POWER: Equip Megatron to an adjacent friendly character (may be equipped to non-standard characters). The equipped character can use the following effect.
EQUIP: Friendly Characters (including non-standard)
UNEQUIP: Place into adjacent square
EFFECT: Precision Strike, but only when making a range attack. // RANGE: Range value 8 , Attack +1, Damage 4. Penetrating/Psychic Blast at no cost. // At the beginning of your turn, you may unequip Megatron by placing him into an adjacent square with 1 action token assigned.
Tap Into A Black Hole: DOUBLE POWER: Range and damage +2. Make a range attack. Damage from this attack can't be reduced below 2. After resolutions, hit characters with the robot keyword are assigned an action token.
I'll Rip Out Your Optics: Charge, Flurry.
Wait, I Still Function: Toughness, Regeneration, Protected: Outwit, Pulse Wave.
Peace Through Tyranny: Leadership, Enhancement, Range Combat Expert.
NO ONE SUMMONS MEGATRON (Sidestep)
FUSION CANNON (Precision Strike)
CRUSH YOU WITH MY BARE HANDS (Super Strength)
NO WEAKNESS (Invincible)
THIS WAS ALMOST TOO EASY (Impervious)
SUCH HEROIC NONSENSE (Invulnerabillity)
ELECTRON BALL AND CHAIN (Close Combat Expert)
WHY THROW YOU LIFE AWAY SO RECKLESSLY? (Enhancement)
028 mirage - i'm digging the sniper role here, especially with the hunting rifle configuration giving him that range and ps but at less than his punches. there's some neat interaction in that. coupled with his range defenses, he may not even care that much if he's stealth-busted. where does the exp starting line start?
037 mirage - this version interestingly focused on your favorite power incap. the speed penalty really motivates a driveby shooting mentality with this design. really like the stealth pacing throughout both these dials
047 megatron - here we go . the equip effect is a stellar way to make anyone dangerous and it conveniently removes megatron from the map when some less than comfy stuff might be going down. he is a blaster from heck. he'll be racking up a body count easy peasy with the immense amount of dmg he's slinging. frankly, i'm terrified of him and it's all warranted. the surprise is the middle brawler that will catch offguard anyone that thinks that now he's based and has been smacked around a bit, he's easy points. oh no. megatron is bringing some pain to the poor fool that tries to jump on this grenade.
Now I'm going to comment on something other than rules. This is just my opinions, so feel free to ignore me:
I feel like "Wait, I still function" would work better on the defense special, since that's at the end of his dial. So I would shuffle the defense flavour text around a bit.
I also feel like "Such heroic nonsense" from the Transformers movie would make for some great flavour text. Maybe instead of "Die Autobots", since that flavour text doesn't really fit a defense power that well.
Again, feel free to ignore my suggestions here. This is your set, and your Megatron is already very cool.

Oops, I guess I forgot to add the lines . Done and done.

Thank you. I wanted him to be one of the, if not the most powerful characters in the set pound for pound.

Here's the clip from the movie:
Those are perfect changes for flavor text and are so much better than what I had. I didn't like the Die Autobots on defense either, so thank you for great suggestions.

I'm glad you liked them
Edit: You forgot to change Invulnerability. Now you've got two "Wait, I still function"s. You could give the old defense special flavour text to that. "No weaknesses", I think.
DESIGNER'S NOTE: Daniel would come with a folded 'double' card instead or a regular one. The first three pages would be Daniel's information. The last, back page would be the Exosuit as an Object-Equipment.

Light Object EQUIP: Any UNEQUIP: Drop EFFECT: Toughness, Leap/Climb, Super Strength.
Points: 5
giving out the exosuit as an object via the ultra chase is shades of thanos in making him more chaseable. I like the open-ended "colossal retaliation" effect. that makes him very ultra chasey. beyond that, very reasonable stats and powers for the character keep him from being broken, but yeah, you can do some mean, mean stuff with that

That's a lot of great quotes for Optimus' flavour text. The only one I feel is missing is "I thought you were made of sterner stuff!" from the movie fight (immediately after the quote you used for Plasticity, I believe). Also, it's apparently a Shakespeare reference. Which is cool, but not something I really know anything about.

Yeah, at first he seemed a little bland for an ultra chase. Then I added the pseudo-colossal retaliation that seemed to spice him just enough. The exosuit object was just so we could get Spike to drop the S-word in it.

Nice. I didn't have a flavor text for Invulnerability. That text is too good not to use.
046 optimus prime - true story, I read every single bit of flavor and power text in peter cullen's most excellent voice . the fact this dial immediately invites the inner child in me to do so is already a win. duuuuude. matrix of leadership is so boss . I love that you incorporated all those effects into the leadership mechanic itself so you can see the power of command. a wonderful addition to a tentpole commander, especially as those effects largely help him, too, and not just the 100pts of extra he brings to a standard sized force. great flow from a frontline leading the assault shooter, to a continuing the charge brawler, to a tieup with teeth, to a last ditch i'm-taking-you-with-me finish. I tried not to get all misty remembering there wasn't a dry eye in the theaters when optimus bit it, and this dial is telling me that noble story so well
g008 optimus prime - don't think I don't notice what that last click RAM is for... great job. I love that you further enhanced the sf mechanic with a 3rd option in the truck and an internal sf within this dial. i understand the need to differentiate them mechanically into different because of the extra wording the tractor trailer gets and you might as well eliminate any funny stuff rules-lawyer-wise with the internal shift. i am digging that stan bush flavor text in his 2 SPs. it makes me rethink that "touch" as a little more punchy and the way he's shielding his allies when carrying them in his trailer is an amazing touch of design. amazing combination of all the effects, throughout the 3 dials almost leadership on every click. the roller is generated to set up the shot for the big bot adds some strategic elements to the whole package beyond 1 dial and the combat deck's enhancement is a delight to see. all in all what a wonderful post today and a great way to showcase THE robot in disguise

This design, more than any other was inspired by your Silver Age set. I'm pretty sure I ripped the leadership power from one of your designs in that set. Also, the idea of the shifting focus and in-dial shift were inspired partly by all the wonderful innovative colossal designs you did. So, I'm glad you like them, because basically they're your designs

Guys, seriously, thank you so very much for the support on this set. Each review or suggestion made my day. Without you guys, it would have gotten pretty lonely here.

I'm glad I could be a part of it. This was fun, and you designed some great dials for these characters!
