I really, really, really wish there was a real-life situation where I could tell a large group of people, "YOU ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO SPEAK THE WORDS TO LIONEL RICHIE'S SONG, HELLO, AS YOU ARE INTIMIDATING PEOPLE."
I have everything they've ever done, whenever they come within 50 miles of me I go see them. Great band, great guys all in all.
I am now insanely jealous. In all my days of punk rock-dom I never got to see them live. I first heard Suffer in '88 and I was hooked, although I tuned out after Generator.

WTF?!?
I didn't go to Harvard or Yale but I can kick a man in the crotch as well as any other.

As you get older, give them another chance. I had to "grow up" with them, and the change from Generator forward is a clear turning point in their growth as musicians. The sound gets a little less angry, and a little more intelligent, IMO.
I'd be happy to make recommendations or even do some filesharing once I get my FTP server back up and running.
This was during Blink-182's Enema of the State phase. I actually got to see Bad Religion about a year later when they were part of the Vans Warped Tour. The Vandals were also on that bill.

I would guess at this point that I would probably like the "newer" material just as much as I liked the previous. As you stated, I think it's a matter of growing up and getting a fresh perspective on it. Some of the music I loved then I now have a hard time listening to (Angry Samoans and Circle Jerks come to mind), while others are just as good to this day (Misfits, Drunk Injuns, Bad Religion, Big Black).

That would be much appreciated. My cassette copy of Into the Unknown got eaten years ago by an angry tape deck. Still makes me mad when I think about it...

The Vandals stuff still holds up. Just recently watched a movie that featured mostly Vandals tunes as the soundtrack.
BTW, Trader, the movie was Glory Daze. Starring Ben Affleck.

Ignore this post, I just wanted to get three different Nyans in a row.

Yahtzee would have been 5 in a row. This is Jenga, I believe.
Quiddity then?
