This is more of a SA deck inspired by the Mental decks in MMA. It also has a bit of a PT denial theme going on with Sage an Black Cat. I haven't been able to get it to work well myself, but a friend has been slaughtering rush decks left and right with this. It pretty much auto-loses to Glock, though.
I like this build, maybe we can replace X-Men United with Brave New World? Add Archangels, reduce X-Corp Amsterdam/team ups to help against rush and leave space for Bad Press/additional tech?
PT denial should help mess around with Glock (no search cards/defensive tricks for them to help us go on the offensive)...
w/ the glock deck that has doom on 4, i can def. understand the plot denial. not to mention it puts a wrench in their early game constructs via kyle. I'd prob. use XMU over BNW just because the trait tag won't do anything except give you more options w/ jean grey red, which you could just use swamp for anyways. to be honest idk what to do against rush right now ... not a single rush deck made it to the semi's in the last 10K at least, so maybe its a sign ...
i was thinking sf and secret society for silver, i am gonna use both secret societys 8 drops and no cosmic spidiy, but this my problem, should i use the dead shot from jla or the deadshot from dic, my view is with cardiac constantly being activate i will barely get to exhaust him for deadshot or should i pray to god my k.o. pile will be enough to kill a 3 drop for the other deadshot, thoughts?
Extreme Prejudice! That6 throws characters into the KO pile just fine. 4 copies of Gravesite. Maybe even Plans Within Plans. You can get characters into the KO pile really fast if thats the real focus of a deck.
i cant really think of anything to change the deck ... seems solid. I see nice tech against dr. light in the form of swamp and sandman (stunning a 2-drop with cardiac before combat to ensure the tap down), and i like the addition of Terrax against chess set. Sage against Killing Joke ... Dominance against ivy and the earlygame in general ... me gusta mucho ;) . Maybe find a way to put in everyone's favorate brother to the swamp in the form of troublesome trickster? SSS is pretty hand-oriented, so what im thinking is that if you have a poor early game joke will crush. how does it do against the FTN deck?
well i have to hit with the 9 search cards i should be fine but if you think there is anything i can pull out i will ....i like the donna troy to refresh hand and joke can go active till turn 4 hopefully i have initiative that turn and sage or black cat or swamp or dominance im more worried about squad if i can keep there numbers down i should be fine
yeah like i said idk what to take out ... & i wouldn't be so worried about squad. except for the new mexican variant, it hasn't been doing so hot in silver
