Will Ivy League/Killing Joke/Justice League of Arkham dominate Silver Age? Does this mean a comeback for the Spider-Friends?
How can we effectively deal with Ivy League and Squadron? Is SF/X-Men Mental the way to go?
BTW I'm not sure if this is correct or not, but with the Glock matchup isn't SF/MK the best way to beat them? Boosted Strange on 8, move all their characters to the hidden area and then attack for lots of breakthrough then Spectacular Spidey for the exhaust?
Glock normally has an alternate win now,. If they can pay 25 for Cap Marvel, you won't see 8. I think one of the better plays against them now might be under drop on 6, or on 5 with init... play Firestar and take out as many small guys as you can. This limits the willpower tricks considerably if you hit enough of them.
Glock if just a rough match up no matter what.
As for Arkham, yeah.... Bad Press, Black Cat... Swing Into Action! And maybe we need to take a look at Fun And Games again, since it can stop Doc Light activations. Cardiac is good of course, to pop those smaller drops that Doc light is bringing back anyway.
SF/X-Men Mental is intriguing, but what is the win condition? I don't think Rachel Summers or Cosmic Spidey are good enough against Glock, even without Captain Marvel.
i feel that the mental spider deck is just too weak.
against glock, we have fun and games. that should be enough. if its not already in angelo's list, it needs to be added in somewhere.
I suggest -2 meltdown, -1 cloak, +3 fun & games.
the reasoning behind taking out meltdown is that it is tech against fate. fun & games stops the tower, so they can't have their strongest guy get the artifacts other than the turn they come out. I think we can survive one lousy turn. esp. if we only let that one attack through. & fate cant get around spider 6.

As an additional cost to play Fun and Games, discard a Spider-Friends character card from your hand. Ongoing: Characters have "Activate >>> Negate target activated effect an opponent controls."
All characters get the activated power while Fun and Games is face up in your resource row. The granted power can be used to negate an opponent's use of the granted power, since it is itself an activated power.
this is taken directly from the comprehensive rules on ude. i also checked on as many card databases i could find, and they all come out the same. fun and games works anywhere on the playground :p
yeah ... how do you survive turns 1-4? cardiac doesn't do anything against a character w/ the cloak of nabu, * will be useless against the SP matchup. Against the joke deck, black cat rocks. it doesn't kill the killer though. I've found consistancy to be a bit of a problem; since the mws is down, i haven't been able to do any online testing. ill try again when i can & ill follow up on it.
i would cut an ezekiel for mysterium, honestly joe spidy sucks at the moment, u should try sf/secret society or x-men/sf, at least wit that u could use eome to hit all ur drops, my 2 cents, and hell if u use eome in the secret society/sf u could get away with sage

seem solid i think the mr myx might help keep you hand size up and i think you drop in two sage instead of rico and drop amazing down 1 and ezek down 1 and add in one spider woman one myster if you want to go with this build i just wish you could add more straight search cards oh well
Well Meltdown can help early, and Dominance can help against the weenie rush. A turn 3 Cardiac with Dominance really hampers their board. I would probably take odds in this meta as well.
What deck is SP?
Why is Sage better than Cat? I can evade Cat in response to Deadshot. I was trying to fit in 3 Nice Trys to counter Dead Shot and Merlyn.
Slaughter Swamp is tech as well against Dr. Light.
