Got mine. It looks spectacular in person. It's going to be fun to play this Friday. Thank you, I'm hoping to get some more from you in the future. *cough*turtles*cough*

Awesome, love the feedback and thank you so much for giving me a vote of confidence with your wallet.
I'll mass print the sewer map as soon as I hit my Dark Alley sales goal. Seven days into the sale and I'm about 5% there.
You're one of the farthest from me geographically that purchased one. Did the packaging material hold up??? This is all very interesting to me.
It held up just fine. Minor ding in the top of the packaging. I must say, it was actually far better then some packages I received from vet map sellers. All in all it was a great service. I'd leave a positive iTrader if I could.
I purchased CuriousLurker's Nightclub / Dark Alley Map. After I saw it I knew I wanted to play a scenario "It's a Raid". The map is excellent overall with only 2 minor gripes (the walls inside the club should be marked & the map is a little too dark). My criticism of it being a little to dark is mainly because I am a printer and very picky when it comes to printing. I only mention these criticisms because CuriousLurker asked for an opinion "I have yet to have an opinion on my work from a non-friend or family member and I'm itching to be critiqued!". Now to the good parts about the map. His design, detail, price & shipping were excellent. I received my map within a week of paying for it & the condition I receive it in was excellent. The best thing I can say about his maps is "I will buy his next set." My son & I will be playing the scenario "It's a Raid" later today. I will post photos after we play. Here are the teams and a little about what is going on:
Lois is investigating a nightclub in Gotham. She does not know the night she is in the club is the night the police have planned a raid. Bruce finds out & tells Clark who comes to Lois' rescue.

Hehe... no need to defend yourself. I can't grow as an "artist" without constructive criticism. The maps are dark. This was a definite choice. I wanted that dark, seedy feel. However there is a big difference between dark on my illuminated monitor and dark on print and that is something I didn't factor in. The printer I used was absolutely terrific. They were fast and responsive. The called my after the press was made and asked if I minded trying the print run on black paper stock instead of white to help hide the paper folds. In the end they still recommended the white stock.
Ultimately this was an intense learning experience. My degree was in Biochemistry. I decided to stay away from the sciences after college and have been involved in private risk for the majority of my working career. So the sum total of my art experience is grade school projects, and a sole class in college in Art History as an elective. So personally for me this whole past year has been a blast. From learning Paintshop, to finding and working with a printer, to selling my own work; every step has been an adventure. I'm about 10% to goal from printing a second map.
