As for Millar on Ultimate X-Men. I have a love/hate relationship with him there. I feel he has a much better grasp on The Ultimates. But he has made Colossus as great a hero as the original, for which I am eternally greatful.

on a personal opinion, i can say thank god they killed Colossus i never liked that character, but i'm sad they killed Psylocke and since i don't collect Xtreme i didn't even knew how it happened.

o.K sO, How did psylocke die??? And what is up w/ this Deadpool Char. being called wepon or agent whatever now? And, what is all this carp about wolverine being Weapon 10 and Cap America being weapon 1. What is going on here?

ok Sabre - Deadpool is not Agent X. Agent X was the title that took the place of Deadpool while the character was MIA. Same team did that book. In the storyline, however, Deadpool has since returned and revealed himself to be a different cat than Agent X. Great books, you should pick them up.

So where was Deadpool...and who was Agent X what were his powers? Who did he fight? So, how come DeadPool went MIA, was there some legal things going on? What purpose was Agent X for? And does this have anything to do w/ Cap being weapon 1 or 0 and Wolverine being weapon 10 or some carp like that?

Psylocke was killed by a guy named Cortez i think (i don't read Xtreme X-Men i might be wrong with the name)

the nomination for Logan, Weapon X, according to one of the story arcs by morrison refer to the roman number not the letter so its weapon 10, the numbers mean the super soldier projects so Cap was number 1.

PS: it's a shame Psylocke died, one of my fave characters, and yes i like Gambit too ! the only one i could not take and thank god he's dead is Colossus

Yes but how did cortez kill her? As far as I knew his only powers are to Super charge others powers? And what does all that stuff mean W/ the Weapon X/ Weapon 10 thing? What was the arc about...whats the signifagance of revealing this info.? So, are they Saying Logan/ Wolverine/ Wepon-x/10 was put together by the same people as the Cap. America People

Some guy named Vargas killed Betsy. Apparently, he's part of a new mutation of Homo Sapiens, and that they are the true next step for humans and that the mutants are a dead end. After killing her, he disappeared from the continuity of the book, making her death meaningless to the whole thing.

At least Colossus saved everyone from the Legacy Virus. Betsy's death was more like Tasha Yar's from ST:TNG... nothing was accomplished.

Well if it's like Tasha Yar it'll bring betsy back as the kid of some evil race who's the sole enemies of the x-men. So, I remember something about that...Vargas guy. So, nothing ever developed w/ that, like what the hell happened w/ him, what was his purpose. I think I remeber them fighting. He was using a sword and she was using a psi-sword or something like that right?? What about that guy I saw Wolverine fight who kicked his ### w/ out any wepons and just his hands? He was blonde

No offense but, if you know what is going on could you tell me and not tell me something I already know, which is i'm a lame a$$ who hasn't kept up w/ his comics b/c he's been to busy w/ everyday life and has had no money do to constant repairs on his car and truck. I just read Shin's first post and I have to agree. The New X-men are ####. On top of that, the new "Brotherhood" is the lamest crew ever assembled. Never before have I wanted the bloody death of a team so badly! (This is even worse than the Redeemers on the Thunderbolts!) I mean have you seen what Toad is wearing these days? Total ####.

Claremont abandoned The Psylocke/Vargas storyline because he was forced to. As stated before, it wasn't the intention to have her dead, but Jemas and Quesada instituted the "No one comes back rule." To which only Bettsy doesn't seem to get a pass, and she wasn't even supposed to really be dead. Quite all right for Magneto though, apparently.

I still say proof of Psylocke being alive is right there in the book. No one did a DNA test, they only took vitals. Within a couple of hours we see a statue of Bettsy in Vargas' house. Now I ask, unless he's got a mutant sculptur on hand, how'd he get a statue so fast. Did he have one mae of everybody, to cover for which kill he wuld acomplish? Highly unlikely. More likely is that the statue is actully Bettsy in a frozen state.

Just my pet theory. I'm a big fan of Captain Brittain and his sister.

The Deadpool and Agent X thing was down to politics and royalties. Everything has been fixed now, and we can forget about it.

So, no one has answered the question about Wepon 10 and Weopon 1 being cap. What is this all about????
