I'm in the same boat with Wintremute about Kool's. Yeah we got Flashes, Don got cranky when we tried to correct him so we didn't press the issue, sides one of the other guys was happy to not get Aquaman.
if you read this then you lost 10 seconds you'll never get back.
What are the different venue's rules for the 300 pt limit on teams for the Starro event?
Superman + Batman = 301. Some people are saying that their judges allow teams 305 or less (I'm assuming as long as they aren't using feats to go over the build cost). What's the Vegas landscape like?
They (DT) may still run Starro through to the end. Check out the approved Venues on WK's site, I didn't see them....
Being a game developer and an active table top minature gamer other than Clix, I'd hope that any Judge would never allow a team to go over 300. There is enough clix in the two boosters to build a list 300 and under, that's the merit of your gaming skills to see if you can play with what you've been dealt.
Obviously that speaks mountains for my skills

Well I'm gonna see kannon today, I'm am sure since they already have the prizez they will probably run the event to its end. Hey a rogue venue for rogue gammers LOL
j/k
I still would like to know whos clixing over there...
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.
"Jimming" a roll has become a common gaming phrase here in Vegas for consistently rolling one less than what you need to score a hit, etc.

I've tried switching mid-game, but with no improvement. No smashing of dice (yet), but I recall throwing them across the room once or twice.
Lucky has suggested numerous times that I need to place two dice in a velvet pouch and carry them around for two weeks in my BVDs. I have not yet stooped to that level, but I have thought about it.
Talk about bad breaks, a guy at work here bought two boosters and opened two IDENTICAL packs, including the Feat card! Both boosters came from the same brick.
His pull(s):
SR Superman
Abra Kadabra
Heat Wave
Firestorm
Bouncing Boy
Legionnaires
We ended up trading dupe SRs, so he has a little more variety now.

All that really does is keep people from touching your dice..... Eeeewwww!

Never stoop to Lucky's level. And never ask to use his dice.
You could always buy 2 matching dice from the bin at houses, thats where I got my redies and I've heard they roll good.
the bin has "Loaded Dice" printed on it, whatever that means
but seriously, how is Joker broken?
And as for the dupe booster, I feel so bad puling 2 popular/strong SRs what a shame, just be glad they weren't Power Rings I don't even want to think about that possibility....
