Nows as good a time as any to use Deadman's Protected.

I thought we were looking pretty close there. You didn't deduct your points for the Hulk from your mystery points. Even with that, you've closed out earlier gap nicely.
Good question. Protected reads "Damage dealt to a character as a result of a single action is ignored." Doesn't specify only particular types of actions. But it says that I can use it only if I do not already have two action tokens, so I guess it's a question of timing. Do you Incapacitate me before I can declare Protected, or can I declare Protected first?
I say lets put this one to the impartial judges of the rules forum and go with their decision: Protected and Stunning Blow
I probably won't be on much today or tonight, so if we get a concensus from that thread, just carry on with your turn. If they say I take the damage, I'll accept that.
I was going to post the very same question today. Only one response but basically it says that the new wording would not allow the use of protected until after the damage (and stunning blow incap token) was done. As stunning blow would deliver a second token already in this case, protected is not usable. Make sense?
Points from Hulk deducted, thanks for the reminder. This game is getting closer, which is more fun, but like me with the Avengers/Skrull game, I think you got this one. It might be a challenge, though, to make it last to Halloween.

Deadman laughs loudly.
"Stop laughing! Stop laughing!" says the Lizard.
"Oh this is gonna be a hoot, Brock," Deadman says aloud.

Halloween's only two weeks away. I think we'll just about do it. May not need to make a point of doing this one first anymore. Things are getting a litttle too close for my comfort. My luck's been going a little sour in this game and all those 18DVs you got are not helping. And we haven't even seen Trigon yet.
Okay so Deadman took a total of 3 clicks from Nightmare there. By the same token however, Hulk can't heal a click when attacking Gargoyle. Your timing's off. He takes his action, takes his click of push damage, and only then does he get Steal Energy. By the time he gets it, his action's done, so he should be at 1 click.
Character roll: 3 Gargoyle. 3 Ghosts. Gets 8. This works well for me. Gargoyle's the only one affected on my side. He gets a token. Blue Devil's close enough, but already has 2 tokens. On your side, Nightmare, Ghost Widow and Psimon all take a token and Lizard takes a token and a click.

"Lady, you have been a worse pain in the neck than the vampires we've been fighting here," Blue Devil told Ghost Widow, using the flames of his trident against her. The mystical nature of the fire affected her otherwise non-corporeal form and she shrieked as she dissipated. Blue Devil threw his hands up to his ears to block the sound, accidentally knocking himself on the head with the trident.
Am I missing something? How could Blue Devil attack Ghost Widow from J6? She's in Q6 and Psimon & Nightmare are in the way. Unless I'm missing something.
Ah, alright then. Character and event rolls are 6. Stealthiness around Giant-Man. He outwits Meggan's pc. (Do you realize all the pc you've got on board on in waiting?).
