Does she need to make two breakaway roll or a single breakaway roll ?

I would think only one. Both are opposing teams.

Nova flys through the A5 , to roof top and over the edge.
She flys into space looking for Galactus.

2) Nightcrawler pushes and moves to E8 and Hypersonic attacks Sue Storm. DEF: 19 – ATT: 10 = need a 9 or better. I rolled a 1+1 = 2. Critical Miss! Scarlet Witch pulls upon the strands of reality for a re-roll. I rolled a 4 + 6 = 10. Hit! Sue Storm takes 2 clicks of damage. Nightcrawler continues move and ends at F7 in the elevator. Nightcrawler takes 1 click for the push.

3) Logan pushes and moves to H15 in the elevator.

The Story

Pyro remembered all the ice and did not want to see it replayed again. He had the elemental witch in his sights and he burned her down. “Frigid Witch!”


Nightcrawler knew Doom’s plan.

Reappear in the elevator blocking Sue’s escape. He knew this version of Sue Storm could not fly and would need an elevator to escape, either to the roof or the street.

The Fuzzy Skrull Elf smiled at Sue, “Fraulein Storm, Dr. Doom would have a word with you.”


Logan took the hint from Nightcrawler and moved into the other elevator.


REMINDER

The Story

Doom watched the Skrull who was emulating Nightcrawler appear and kick what must be the invisible Sue Storm. His instruments still could not pick her up. “We have her. Come Taskmaster, one more of the Fantastic Four is yet to fall!”

He grabbed the merc as Nightcrawler appeared in the elevator and Logan moved into the one near him. He flew the both over to where Sue must surely be. As they landed, Taskmaster pointed out a pool of blood forming at what must be Susan’s foot.

Doom spoke, “Susan, I offer you the lives of your children for your surrender. If you come quietly I will assure you both of your children shall live. If you make this tedious and drawn out, I will allow the Skrulls to take the boy and I shall reclaim your daughter as my own.”

“What about Reed?” Came a quiet voice from seemingly nowhere.

“All of your lives are forfeit. That is not up for negotiation. Benjamin, your brother, your husband and yourself will all be put down ‘humanely.’ As will those who stood with you today. I will do the same to Franklin and Valeria if you do not cooperate.” Doom crossed his arms across his chest. The second activation of the Boot Jets so soon after their last use had burned Doom’s feet. But what was pain to Doom?

“Susan, you have 2 seconds to decide (next turn) or Taskmaster will hack you apart.” Taskmaster drew his sword and studied the ground where Sue Storm stood and the stain of blood on the ground. He knew, if given the word, he had her.

“Decide. So orders Doom.”

Story

"Go and get her!" Doom barked to Super Skrull.

"I have felled Reed Richards, the fabled Mr. Fantastic. I have felled the Thing as well. And through my efforts the flame of the Human Torch has been snuffed out. Only Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman, remains. When I lay her at your feet, I will claim the glory for the Skrull Empire.

"Then you shall do as you have promised and the Fantastic Four will be replaced with Skrulls. We have replaced the X-Men and the Brotherhood and several members of the Avengers already. We will help you conquer your world and bring it safely within the SKRULL EMPIRE! Then I, Super Skrull, will be elevated to the glory that I so richly deserve and you shall claim your throne as master of the earth.

"Flame on!" SuperSkrull burst into flame and flew through the roof of the now conquered Baxter Building.

'And after the earth, the Skrull Empire will belong to Doom as well,' Doom thought to himself. Taskmaster, Nightcrawler, Pyro, gather up our enemies together and contain them. Doom would dispose of them and begin his review of the Baxter Building's technology that Reed Richards has so kindly donated to Latveria."

On the roof Super Skrull landed next to Sue Storm who was trying to remain invisible and make her way to safety. She was doubled over catching her breath when he came from behind her. His arms began stretching to embrace her, "This will be a hug like no other!"

Sue's eyes grew wide.

For what it's worth, Logan is really in the elevator (H15), he will bring it up to the 6th floor to watch.

And sorry about the length it took me to get this turn out, things have just been hectic and starting Maul of America just added to it.

Seeing the Super Skrull....remind Sue think of all her family Reed, Brother the human tourch and friend the Thing.

She was so overcomed with sadness she could not move. (Pass action)

Story

The coiling arms wrapped around Sue, who was frozen by fear, and squeezed the breath from her. She went limp in the Super Skrull's arms. He had done it. He had defeated them all. All the ridicule he and his people had faced at their hands was wiped away. The Fantastic Four was no more.

Soon earth would become a part of the Skrull Empire. By making the alliance with Doom the Skrulls had defeated the heroes of the earth. Doom was by no means to be trusted but, what ally could truly be trusted fully? The victory today was all that mattered for now.

For now he would lay Sue Storm at Doom's feet and they would rejoice together. The victory celebration on the hoemworld would be sweet.


Aside

The last attack had a very interesting note by having 2 fours be the roll that defeated Sue. An omen really. It gives me an idea for a PBP game. Earth's remaining heroes try to rescue the Fantastic Four at their public execution in Latveria.

All marvel, Villains: Doom, Skrull (including mutants like here), Invited Dignataries (MoE, the Mole Man, Diablo or whoever) against Avengers, Marvel Knights style Team (spidey, DD, Ghost Rider, etc.), FF allies (a revamped FF with Logan, Mr. Fixit, Ghost Rider, and Spidey would be cool but whatever). Maybe 400 or 500 points. Rescuing the FF could give the resuer free figs (the villains would have to get some kind of reinforcements like Doombots or Ultron or something)

Just an idea. I would have to make a map and let Maul of America get done first.
