You know previews are done, right? The entire set is up. That said, play what you pull. I like the look of mono-black control, especially if you get a Mutilate and a Cower In Fear or two. Use those uncommon ring equipments. Arctic Aven and Harbor Bandit are fantastic, and you should consider building around those if you see them. I'm not that impressed by red for this set, although red/white with tokens and Trumpet Blast could be good.
No I don't. So I should play with all the cards I pull? :s Not sure if there are any combos that might be good. Worried as I haven't built a deck in 10 years from Magic X_x. Hoping I can still remember what I'm doing LOL. Doing the midnight one since I'm usually going to be at the store around that time anyways plus they say the more lax players play then.

No. Obviously. What I meant was, don't plan a deck ahead of time and then have it be a waste of time when you inevitably pull something different. Plan your deck around what you have, don't go out of your way to pre-plan.
The most important things to keep in mind for sealed aren't combos. The most common mistakes people make though are to run too high of a mana curve (think hard before including something that costs more than three mana, possibly unless you have a pretty solid control or acceleration frame, but I don't think this set really supports either?) and try hard not to run over forty cards.

That's an old one. It's been reprinted a few times.

I think half the cards seem to be reprints. Rancor I remember. Not trying to plan ahead of time a deck just what to look for to use. I'm thinking maybe one or two big creatures or spells the rest low costing stuff. Depending on what I pull. I'm hoping to get my first Planeswalker as I've never had or used one before .

Oh yeah. Rancor. Use that.
Blue/green seems more usable here than it often is in sealed. Welkin Tern and Rancor go great together.

Though I didn't see the gold planeswalker. Planeswalkers get damage dealt to them via the tokens they have on them? Also what is standard to use for tokens in a sealed environment? Also saw a green creature that doesn't let your life go below 7...that was pretty cool.

Not positive what you're asking, but when they take damage they lose that much loyalty, and when they run out of loyalty you discard them.

Do you mean creature tokens? Face down cards or empty boosters are common, although all or nearly all of the tokens that appear in core sets will have been previously printed, so a lot of people will probably already have Soldier tokens and Zombie tokens or whatever.

And I just have a few here and there and still in boosters all over the place X_x. Wonder if they might have a standard token pack to buy or something at the store :-/

If such a thing exists, I've never seen it. Most boosters come with either a creature token or rules card, or a Planeswalker's emblem in some rare cases (and if the set happens to include a Planeswaljer that features an emblem). You can also but creature tokens from various websites if you really wanted to; I normally visist Troll and Toad for my MTG and HeroClix needs. Otherwise, heck, I have a botaload of creature tokens that I've kept. If you'd like, send me a list of what you think you'll need, and I'll be happy to send some to you.

Reason: I apparent,y can't link to Troll and Toad.
Chick? Chick posing as a dude? Extraterrestrial? You decide!
Well I know the store sells singles so they might have either single tokens or they made up packs of tokens that you can buy. Never looked into their MTG stuff honestly.

2013 has a LOT of reprints, to be sure. It's a bit discouraging if they're going to be silly enough to make these core sets every year.

Core sets used to be all reprints. For the role they play in the game, they have to either contain a lot of reprints or a lot of cards that are identical in all ways but name to existing cards that need to stay in standard. I don't normally recommend buying much of them for that reason, but it's not arbitrary.

Yeah, the point of the core sets is to always have some of the basic, workman cards are readily available to new players. I think it's part of the reason Magic has survived all this time. There's a point of introduction every year. The sets do contain a lot of reprints, but they aren't really aimed at established players. I, personally, wasn't planning to get much of it, but my brother is really excited by some of the cards in the set, so we're getting a bunch anyway. : - )
Jace is broken in sealed I think. Guy I played round 1 pulled one and with a forty card deck you're gone in about four turns depending if they get him out and you can't kill him.
