In Tennessee getting ready to head towards Worlds and have managed to catch some Carnivines while here... not available in Illinois

Going to try to hatch a Kangaskhan and finish the Kanto dex this week I guess.

I got my first new rando-shiny since like april.
The winner is... Grimer!

I like Grimer. I especially liked that he counts as four in the Pokedex!

I need a Mr. Mime and the wife needs a Kanga. The wife was real lucky yesterday because she actually hatched an Unown. I have four 7km eggs in incubators. I reread the event announcement and it said you could hatch a shiny regional. It seems farfech'd that it will happen(pun intended).

Got a bajillion Mimes. Does the trade feature work if you are on different continents?

I think we can only battle each other. I thankfully hatched a Mr Mime last night. Kanto is complete

So community day is tomorrow at 11 am. I am not against the different starting time, but I think that the different starting time coupled with the featured pokemon, Trutwig, I wouldn't be surprised if it was an underwhelming event for the pogo community.

Decent Community Day for me. Was a bit distracted but managed to collect enough to evolve one shiny and one regular Torterra.

I was out for 90 minutes + and got only 3 shinies. I was really gunning for 4 because the wife was not able to participate, and I prefer to have one of each evolution for the community day shinies. There are 2 other CD shinies where I do not have one for all evolutions. Dratini because I was running out of room and deleted them because the IVs were terrible and there was also Charmander where the wife and I were not able to participate at all in CD.

I was surprised by the number of shinies because I was confined to hunting in my car. Usually with car hunting I can cover a larger area and shiny check a lot more pokemon. I usually have more. It's not so bad but I am finding that there are some CDs, every 4th one or so, where my shiny catching is just not the same.


Do any of you seem to have spotty luck on some CDs?

Yesterday's community day was absolute garbage for me. Out of the easily 100+ Turtwigs I caught, only ONE was shiny and it was PURE garbage. Meanwhile people around me were catching 6-7+ shiny pokemon each. These last 2-3 community days and these weekly events have been atrocious for me and it's really starting to wear on me.

I mean, I know I'm not OWED anything, but for the amount of time/effort that I put into this game, I feel slighted more often than not after playing it for HOURS UPON HOURS a week. I'm not going to quit, but this is probably the least in love with it that I've ever been. Might have something to do with other things in my life not really going well at the moment either, but it hurts.

At around this time is when I felt like the pokemon people were just creating any idea that popped into their head without being too creative.

Just hatched a Kangaskhan, so the Kanto dex is complete now. The egg was from Boston so I Think someone on here is responsible.
