what could replace frankie but still draw 2 by discarding? cool effect and helps with hand to stall in a galactus deck till you get to him (at least in sealed)

thats just it though i think the effect may be too good, for this game.
shes free and helps smooth out draws, how many opening hands have people kept because it was frankie, 2 other cards, and a 4 drop?
sounds good to me, depending on the deck of course.
No team would let anyone run the deck at a PCQ this close to Sydney.
A single guy could've come up with it and he could decide to run it. Immediate bans are bad.
And what did I say you were lying about?

Do you know who Jaxxin is?
Jason Hager. That doesn't mean I listen to what he says simply because he says, "Trust me." If that's all he's going to say, he should follow his first instinct according to that post and just not bother posting in these threads. And if I believed it whenever anyone said "Trust me," then chdb has already gotten me to trust him (because that's his most common tactic), so he's being redundant.
If he's got something to say, he should say it. Too many people on this site make general statements and follow them with, "Trust me, I know what I'm talking about." A good player or not, it's a stupid thing to say, and I have no problem calling Hager on it.

I usually don't like your harshness, but that right there is solid gold.
I'm not entirely sure which one it is, but an EA version of Frankie Raye is supposed to be included in the MHG hobby league kits. Would suck if it were the 1 drop, I suppose UDE would have to to a recall, similar to what they did with the Overload EAs.
No one should ever trust someone who simply says, "This is truth. Trust me." Really. Don't even bother trying.
Except Jack Bauer, he's ALWAYS right...if everyone just did what he told them to the show would be called "12."
Anyways, it's pretty obvious that people don't like Frankie Raye. I used to be one of the people who said she didn't need to be banned, but I guess I've jumped on the bandwagon now. Unlike pre-LA, UDE has a good 6-week warning this time, and will probably be doing thorough in-house testing before they make a decision. Let's hope it's the right one.
wow, to all the guys who created this deck, my hats off to you. You've just recreated my favorite deck of all time, Gamma-Doom, but with a more aggro approach. Oh and its mostly degenerate. I do agree that frankie should be up for a ban with AoD!. The amount of card advantage she offers is a bit too much for a one drop. I do think there are ways to try to combat your deck, I'm not saying they're the absolute stone cold nut way to deal with it, but if ude doesn't do anything I might as well throw my two cents in.
I think as an entire deck with little to change, Kree Press probably has the best ways to deal with their own bomb. If kree hit stargate, and I think they play san on 2 to reliably rip it so its very likely they can, Nega-Bomb will have a hard time truely getting rid of their board. Since kree have the fastest recovery in Silver (with faces right behind it even post light-ban), they can replenish their board with 4 or 5 characters.
Now you've probably changed the deck, maybe to a non-combat option with Mole man, or stall to captain marvel. I know those are horrible alternate wins but they're harder to disrupt, more mole man than capt. Since combat based wins can get wrecked by reinforcing the attacked character. Kree packing 4 war of attritions isn't a bad counter, since many kree characters are reservists, and many of their locations terraform.
Last thing, I wouldn't take this deck to a golden age PCQ. I think high voltage would just beat down for three turns, getting you close to 20 end, and after you start nega-bombing, they just burn you out. I was able to pull off turn 3 and 4 turn wins with it against diffirent decks each time. With light gone, HV is going to be back in force.

He shouldn't just say it.
You can call me on it if you want. I just wanted to post my tally in the camp and show that at least my point of view is that attend or die isn't necessary in the engine. I work on a team that confides me with a lot of information and I'm not going to jeopardize any other information for the purpose of this thread. Here is what could happen.
A. I could post exactly how you can do this and the best way I have found to accomplish these goals over months of testing. She doesn't get banned, and now it's a debacle in Sydney. Maybe I have it right, maybe I don't. I can't risk that because other people trust me.
B. I don't say anything at all and perhaps this still festers and destroys a format that maybe I can affect positively with a quick nod of the hat towards a problem.
Players that see a problem do not owe it to the community to detail exactly where they are at in their research and confirmation of the problem. A simple acknowledgement by people who may have gotten it right in the past will do. That is where I went with it. I feel the situation has blown itself out of porportion enough that exactly what I said doesn't comprimise significantly the trust of my peers and more importantly, friends.
Like always, "trust me" is not a command, it's a suggestion. I'm posting in this thread because I think it will help me towards an overall goal, not because I'm being an ambassador for the game.
