I cast a spell on you that took you 2 less votes to lynch. I was still town at this point when I cast it, and I thought there was only 1 cult member left, at the most 2, which I was going to save my NK for.
I literally got recruited last night. (shrug)
How many votes were on me before I voted gfish?
Some are born great
Some achieve greatness
And some have greatness thrust upon them
I won because I lucked out, not because I played it well (sad face). Although what I had assumed at the end, was pretty much the way it was. I didn't trust you, but felt we needed another townie just in case PF was cult, and it didn't look as if anyone was going for Q. The thrice alive.
A win is a win at this point, as I haven't won any of these until. 1 for 6 .
The funny thing is that I never end the game (or my life) as town. Literally every game I've been recruited, the SK or mafia. I think K-ness even made a joke about it at the beginning of this game.
I think you had 3 on you Disco, as Adam, Toughest, and I had voted for you.
I don't know how it works with gfish, as I guess you did vote before Toughest, maybe gfish's threshold had been raised. Either way I'm impressed you made it this far, whenever I've been the SK I don't make it very long.
The power I gave you lowered your lynch threshhold by 2, so my vote should have killed you if discombobulous was not dead.
I think I'm the only person that lost at this point. I needed Fredwood dead and adamical dead to win.
So your win condition was to have everyone you made a deal with dead at the end of the game?
Still lucked out is all I'm saying, if I wasn't recruited it wouldn't have made a difference of who got lynched as there would have been no way I could have won as town, especially since the cult had a Doctor and a bodyguard of sorts. (If their claims are to be believed)
Im curious as to why the cult didnt try to recruit me seeing as I had a NK power.
Also Gfish if you were the cult leader you are one lucky son of a gun because I tried to kill you as my first night action replacing Furby.
Because Toughest was convinced I was the SK, so apparently he spent like 3 nights trying to recruit me. One night I had made myself untargetable (after I outed Sanut) the next night PF targeted me, so when Toughest tried to recruit me, he recruited Phoenix instead, by then he was lynched, and I didn't have protection from recruit last night despite being a PGO.
At least that's how I'm thinking it went down. Still not sure why he was so convinced that I was SK.
Target HavokandChaos, and offer the following power:
Caffeine Boost! You have been tripled tonight! You may do three different night actions! You must targeted different people with each action. While you probably only have access to one night action, you feel so high strung, you think you can also do the following:
Power Cop: target a player and learn what power they used.
Reverse Power Tracker: you may target a player and learn what powers they were targeted with last night--but you will not learn who targeted them.
Vote Steal: you may steal another person's vote!
Night 2:
Talisman of Various Unpleasant Things: The talisman contains weird inscriptions that look unpleasant, but in reality just say the words "Made in China" in a cursive flourish. The Talisman allows you to do two different things as day actions, but using both of the Talisman's effects during the day could multiply the cost. The Talisman allows you to:
1. Force someone's vote to follow someone else's vote. The means that when a person votes, you may instruct the mod to have the vote follow a different person, maybe you or maybe someone you trust. The mod will post that your target's vote is now following another person, but will not inform the town why.
2. You may summon a spirit of truth to lie detect someone's post from the current day phase.
Night 3:
Martini of Great Power, on the Rokks: The Martini is incredible, and very tasty. While you possess this power without using it, whenever you appear in the write-up, you will be holding a martini.
There are three ice cubes in the martini, and you may use the martini three different times in addition to your night action. The negative consequences are that you will become intoxicated, and the consequences get worse each if you use two or even three actions all on the same night.
In addition to your normal night actions, you may do one, two, or all three of the following:
1. Target three people. If one of the three people are a member of the mafia, one of your ice cubes will turn red.
2. Target three people. If one of the three people are a member of the cult (if there is a cult), one of the ice cubes will turn yellow.
3. Target three people. If ALL of the people you targeted are town aligned, one of the ice cubes will turn green.
Night 4
Three books lay on the table. The moment you receive this power, you must choose ONE book to pick up. The others vanish, and you CANNOT use them. The cost of each book is different.
Quebbster's Dictionary: A dictionary filled with fascinating notes written into the margins. You may use the dictionary in addition to your regular night actions, or just hold on to it. While you hold the dictionary without using it, you have a static 25% chance to misdirect anyone who targets you. When you use the dictionary to target someone, you will have an equal chance (25%) to receive a clue, an alignment, a name, or one power (complete with the power's name, if any). Additionally, this action will be self-guided. Once you use the dictionary, it is gone and you no longer receive the static 25% misdirect benefit.
Necronomi-Comic: A deathly looking graphic novel, written in the blood of a virgin fanboy. As a day action, The Necronomi-Comic will allow you to return to life one dead player with a town alignment. Instead of the previous power set-up, this character will instead be a bodyguard with a zombie talk post-restriction ("You must elongate vowels and end every sentence in mwwwwuhhhh"). This character's new alignment will be that they win if and when YOU win (they will be told your name).
Shanking For Dummies: Captioned "A Reference For the Rest of Us." As a night action, you may night kill someone in addition to your normal action. If you use this action, you will be depicted referring to the book in a step-by-step process.
Night 5:
Adam's Maniacal Toolbox: A clever set of tools in bizarre shapes and pointy bits to them. This toolbox can be used for a variety of purposes. You can either use the toolbox twice in one night in place of your normal night action, or you can use the toolbox once per night for three nights in addition to your normal night actions.
Dissect!: You may target one dead player and learn that person's alignment and name OR their night power and last person targeted.
Trap!: You may build a box, held up by a stick, with a hot dog cleverly placed inside as bait. The night you use this, you will appear in the write-up building this mechanism. If anyone targets you with a nightkill, role block, misdirect, or vote steal, they will instead be caught within this clever trap.
Capture!: You may create an elaborate life-size marionette, and attach it to some poor soul. For the following day, this person will be silenced and you will have stolen their vote. In addition, you will be temporarily masoned--just for the day. The up side is that they can communicate with you. The downside is that they will know what happened.
Fix!: You may target another player. They will be doctored and guided for the night. This is rather boring, but very useful.
Night 6
POWER OFFER. Sorry bad typing
Maniquan iwearing apparal. You notice a maniquin wearing a Michigan State University sweater, anddecide to take it with you. While you carry the maniquin around, you are a double voter. You may decide to disgard the maniquin in order to take all of the following night actions in place of your normal night ACTION--NOT in addition to your normal night action.
1. Equip the Toughest One There Is. You found a sports cup on the maniquin, designed to protect your nether regions. While wearing this, actions against you have a 25°/° chance of being MDed.
2. MSU Sweater. This progressive fashion statement will make you swagger. The night you equip this you will become a mirror. Anyone targeting you will end up targeting themselves instead.
3. Sonic Park Tour T-shirt. Often, simply called "S.P." to core fans, this shirt is from their world tour. When you wear the sp world tour shirt, you may target a dead player and learn their alignment.t and name. You see, the band is totally death metal, so it makes sense.
Night 7:
Discombobulation Amplifier: an ingenious contraption, the discombobulation will allow you to do one of several things in addition to your normal night action.
Great Fire of the Pheonix! You can cause PheonixFire to envelope you, turning you into a PGO. If you are targeted for a night kill action, role block, misdirect, or Jailkeep, instead you will cause the person targeting you to explode.
Discombobulous Vortex! When you use this power along with your normal night action power, you will be self-guided, un-trackable, and immune to opposing characters' PGO powers. This means your action is guaranteed to succeed, even against mean old men.
Rage of the Eternal Fire! If you fail to use one of these powers and are lynched, you will auto-kill the person who hammered you, as your soul becomes filled with eternal rage.
Night 8:
Frank's Furby Doll: a doll shaped like a Furby, holding a much smaller Doll shaped like Frank. Quite the mind twister really. The doll has no power, but the smaller doll, Furby's Frank doll, has the power to make you friends.
Give Someone a Plush Furby! (jailkeep) The Furby's Frank doll will stop someone from doing what they would normally be able to do for the night, and disable them from being targeted by other characters for the night, effectively working like a jail keep. The next night, they will not be able to do anything other than use this power as well. Each subsequent possessor of the doll will only be able to use this power instead of their normal night action.
Play With Franks' Furby: (Self-guided Drag) Target another character in place of your normal night action. For this action, you will be guided. This is a dragging power, and you and your target will both appear in the nightly write-up playing with this cute little dolly.
Canister of Pure Awesome: Inside this canister is the essence of a mighty fish's mighty smell. Rumor has it that the essence is from a fish that ate Jimmy Haffa, who wore a pair of cement boots, and it infused with his power. You may use this g-fish's funk on one night in addition to your normal actions.
G-Fish's Funk: The first effect is that you will become a PGO for the night. The first two people who target you will die.
Infinity Schmack: You feel.... infused. You will be able to use a self-guided night kill tonight in addition to your normal actions.
