Well on the positive side, Quebs was telling the truth about being a "power protector" so that does lend credence to his claim. How unlikely is two guides though? I just don't know. I mean if Quebs is town, boy, the planets sure aligned to screw him on this one...

@Silver i was told Mafia. although RT would still catch whoever may kill me tonite and a doctor could keep me alive. i guess guide wouldn't do anything. if there's a nite cop - he has a viable target if we don't lynch quebs. tho, with wade's reveal, quebs hemming/hawing on a claim. i do think i did catch one. (my how thematic) and might not be insane. being insane/paranoid is the only thing in question which unfortunately can't be resolved until quebs is lynched or NK.

While the name is the same, that's not exactly the power Quebbs claimed. He said his was like a guide, while your's sounds like a what ... type of jailkeep? No, it doesn't block. Just protection against powers, minus kills.

I wonder if the term "Power Protector" was a general descriptive and not necessarily supposed to be the name of the power. Like someone else might have my power name, because it's from the same power group (or whatever you would call it for Pokemon) but it's actually something different.

Interesting that people are ignoring that the powers are NOT the same.

Guides make sure that the target's actions get through without the messing by other people.

No, a guide prevents the target the from being messed with and the target will find his target.

What you are describing keeps EVERYONE (including investigators) from targeting your target. Like a jailkeeper but doesn't RB the target...and let's kills go through.
