Is it to provide us with official answers to rules questions?
Check out the other thread. I think you will really enjoy what Norm has planned. It should address your chief concern which seems to be knowing what questions have been satisfactorily answered and what questions are still awaiting a response from GD.
Norm did a really cool thing on the old judges forum that really kept all the judges in the loop.
It looks like he is going to make that "under the hood" experience available to HcRealms.
It might not be the direct answer you are looking for, but I have a feeling you will end up getting everything you want from the rules team once he exposes the inner details to you.
It should answer your question about what's "official" and what's "still in the discussion" mix without precisely labeling things in those restrictive terms.

Q: If Larfleeze's damage power is Outwitted, do the constructs go away, since:
Quote
Whenever a power or combat ability is countered, or lost because it no longer appears in the stat slot on a character, all game effects generated by that power or ability immediately end, but any tokens placed on character cards (or feats) as a result of the countered power or ability remain there.
A: Still awaiting word.
I'm gonna give my two cents on this and hope it gets considered. If countering or losing a power that generates object tokens removes all such objects from the game how does that effect other powers such as cr103 Garth salvage, mu062 Rampaging Hulk smash, and an059 Wonder Twins bucket of water. Yes i know the orange constructs are special objects with no cards but they still are objects.
Assuming you do remove them then if i bring a bucket of water and my opponent using the Wonder twins chooses bucket of water form one turn and then switches to a Ice cage form. my bucket of water should go away since they lost the ability that could generate that effect and the rules don't know my bucket from another. Its true they didn't generate my bucket but the rules don't care they just see a power that generates that effect being lost and then removes all such effects.
Well that's my thoughts on it i know my post count is low so you're free to ignore me I don't play but with one or two people so I know how I'm gonna play it either way.

The Wonder Twins aren't a good example since the effect is generated by a trait, not a power. (Although if you apply comic sense the bucket should go away.) But the other two are. The problem is that the rules need to better define which powers will be affected and which will not.

When they made it "Simpler" it opened it up to more questions and misunderstandings. This is a prime one.
Before each power said when the effects went away, but they wanted to shorten those few powers down, and when they did it affected powers that they did not expect.

Complete agreement. As an aside, are there any special powers that should fall under this other than Trigon's Doppleganger?
What does it friggin' matter? With this figure alone, we've already seen that it doesn't mean a hill of beans what we say.
If we say that something is under discussion, we get hounded through thread bumps and PMs asking repeatedly if we have an answer yet.
If we give you an answer, we get people saying that they're going to play some other way anyway because that answer isn't in the PG.
As with all things, play it to the best of your ability.
Some people do bump up threads too often, and some people do ignore answers they don't like (and offer lame excuses why), but there are a lot of us who respect the work and time you guys put into this. I was aiming at "constructive criticism" rather than "stinging rebuke", but my social skills aren't my best feature. (In the same sense that cleanliness isn't the best feature of sewer rats, some days.) I, personally, wouldn't bother asking if I didn't respect your answers. Nobody at my venue goes to big conventions to play. I'm never going to be playing at Worlds. I do not care how rules issues will be decided for Gencon. I just want to run the best games I can, and the work and effort you guys do helps me do this.
So, thanks.

Question, if you are making an attack against someone via one of the Orange Constructs, do you need line-of-fire to the Construct, Larfleeze, or both to use Probability Control on the attack?
Quinlan Vos: "Two Morgukai against one wounded Jedi? Seems unfair. Would it help if I closed my eyes?"
I, for myself, like the proposition (don't remember where it was) to only apply that rule to effect with a set duration ; this would include Barier and Smoke Cloud, as well as Outwit and Perplex, as it should, but would exclude Orange Constructs which stay there once summoned (until destroyed) and other effect (like Trigon's Doppleganger). This will also end up another issue that has been raise before concerning Incapacitate and RCE (among others) because their effect doesn't have a specific duration either (you don't give an action token "until the character clear" ; you give it, period).
I found it pretty square, and really easy to explain (which is one of my major concern, since I'm the guy who end up explaining rules for my community, and I have to translate them first !)

QFT. I just wanted to join Suttkus on this one.

Thank you for your prompt answers sir. That's what I thought, but I just needed to be sure. I feel like the constructs really aren't that amazing unless you play armor piercing.
If Larfleeze surrounds himself with constructs but I can just walk up to him and outwit the summoning power and that gets rid of the constructs, that would blow. IMO the constructs should stay even if the power is outwitted. Not for any legitimate rules reason, just because. :-p

now see, this makes perfect sense. Simple and easy for everyone to understand.
