"No," I said to myself, "Nobody's going to say Ultron. This is a HeroClix board; people know their comic characters here."
"But, Self," I replied, "You -know- someone is going to make that assumption."
Blame the way Tony was recently cited as "a creator of Ultron" over in a few Marvel episodes and "alternate kiddy-Earth comics" because they figured Iron Man's more well known than Hank Pym.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

Oh, you mean the wife-beater who created the largest mass-murderer in Marvel Earth's history?
Has he done something else?
"Why would the possibility of me being wrong ever stop me from doing something?"
Hmph, after my snarky comment to Rokk, I googled Hank Pym, and found an interesting post from Jim Shooter. Turns out it was Bob Hall's fault. Never knew that.

Even taking into account the "wife beater" situation - and, frankly, I've always wondered why it was okay for, say, Jan to sting him into unconsciousness when she was upset or, recently, for Cap to blindside KO Sharon Carter so she wouldn't go on a mission - what made Hank great for me (besides his powers and areas of specialty) was...he was a soul seeking redemption. He did something bad and rather than just have it glossed over, he's used it as a way to try and be a better person.
Frankly, I loved him best when he stated, "I'm not Ant-Man. I'm not Giant-Man. I'm not Goliath. I'm not Yellowjacket. I'm Dr. Henry Pym and that's alright with me." (Unfortunately, the 90's hit and everyone had to go around in utility belts and spandex so that was all done away. )
Heck, I even just bought the "Many Faces of Dr. Henry Pym" TPB even though I've got every mint originals of every issue in it. So...yeah, fanboy.
Er, anyway...I guess the original point is I can see why some folks would get confused by Peers' comment.
Really wish Wade would also come answer our questions.
