She is a little crazy wild child. A cuddly little sweetheart when you are sitting still, but will suddenly run in a straight line, and if that line runs into a swing set, across a road, into the side of a confused dog, you name it...she would do it.
I told her mom that unless they get a leash system for her, that kid ain't gonna reach 5.
I have returned. Spent a week on PCB with my family, total of 15 of us. Parents, brothers, Our wives and our combined 7 kids (all girls 5-18) was not the disaster I expected.
70 long boxes, holy crap that is a lot of comics. $1000 for 70 long boxes is less than $15 a box. I would have told the buyer to frag off, too. 70 long boxes makes my 18 short boxes look like a starter collection.
Not sure how many boxes it was but I sold my collection in 2011, it was 42 long boxes. I got $1250 for them, for approximately 8900 comics; ~$0.14 each. I had pulled all of my Silver Aged stuff out and had sold it separately.
I sold my X-Men 1 for $9000 - A guy drove from Columbia SC (about 6 hours) to my work and paid cash after he looked at it.
My other SA stuff (about 150 issues) sold for about $4000 combined.
Selling my XM1 is a big regret in my life, but we needed the money.
And I get weird Confederate apologist and tirades from Trump lovers via Facebook messenger now too, ever since I spoke my peace on the dumbass "Confederate flag" So there is that. The world is a vampire.
While cleaning out some boxes from a move from many years ago, I came across a wool second national confederate flag. It belongs to either my (deceased) father or brother and somehow got mixed in with my stuff. I have plans to burn it as soon as I have the opportunity.

Though I do appreciate the cathartic impact of a good burning, how about sending it to a history teacher who could actually use it to teach some children of redneck idiots about the Civil War? I have repro or print out stuff of lots of different historical era things for my classroom, and I'd way rather have kids learn about the horrors of the Confederacy with a real flag than that abominable Army of Northern Virginia battle flag that got roped into being the symbol of racism and resistance to civil rights only a generation or two ago. Yet somehow people think that it is some historical icon.
Send me a PM if you want to send it my way, otherwise burn it and make sure we see pictures

I am so proud of you. Though I'm not sure how this will be accomplished. As you just spent a week on a Printed Circuit Board, we now have proof that you're just a program.

Carry on

I am relieved that I was not the only one who has no ####ing idea what his PCB mention even means.
I figured everyone else must know it and that's why he didn't clarify it. Of course I looked it up, and the first hit was the Pakistan Cricket Board. Were you there on some kind of appeal for a bad call or something? Did the whole family play on a team?
Or did you mean to say you were on a PCP fueled binge with your family?
You give them credit for dumb...some of them are just plain malignant. A few of those folks who speak up with crazy stuff are the kind of people who would actually risk their lives to help someone, heck, a few of the prior service ones have. They pride themselves on being "common sense" and "aware" experts, but then fall prey easily to the stupidest, most vile right wing propaganda drivel you can imagine. And instead of changing course when presented with new info, or conflicting input, most of them just double down on even crazier ####.
Alex Jones type Infowars crazy stuff.
And the sad part is, despite my lifelong moderate to conservative, republican leaning politics over the pre-Trump era, most of my posts don't even get seen by the craziest of the former soldiers and my mom's side relatives who now think I am somewhere left of Bernie Sanders! I can only imagine what a few of their comments would be!

I'm a surface mount technician, which is a fancy name for, I make circuit boards. Printed Circuit Board was the first thing I thought of when I saw PCB.
Wishing for competitive Judge Dredd figures for Modern Age...WizKids are you listening?!?!
6 of us got together and played a sealed JLU 300 point swiss tournament. Surprisingly, the team of rare Superman, super rare S.T.R.I.P.E. and common Lex Luthor won. Out of 12 boosters, 2 chases were pulled (Wonder Twins and Black Manta) and prime Batman.
