I seriously doubt that UDE wanted to add a card to the game that would help diversity only to have prices inflate so that only the welthy could afford it.

Seriously, if each one costs 40, then its 160 for a play set, 2 boxes worth of cards for 4 single cards. Thats not right. Beat down was 20, but you didnt need it for almost every deck.

A card that let's you search your deck for any character with a different printed affiliation than target character you control, but only if all character cards you controll share an affiliation that isn't that cards printed one ? There you go, a card that diversifies but also encourages (nay, requires ) Teaming Up.

How bout it UDE ? You can have that idea for free, just make it an uncommon and we'll be set. Come on, you know you want to.

ok seriously all of you need to stop #####ing, its card game. and in every card game theres gonna be cards that cost money, deal with it. if you arent willing to shell out 25-30 bucks for a card that everyone knows is amazing then you're not good enough to be playing with it.

surely u realize how stupid it is to be whining that this card costing 30 bucks is ruining the game. if you're a good player then you'll buy/trade for a playset win a pcq or place at a 10k or pc and make your money back.

I just got my first EomE today for $6 plus a comic book... my second will be acquired next weekend for helping to do some work, and the last 2 I hope to get via trading. If I'm not able to trade for them, I think I might have enough quarters to cash in to get a box of X-Men and cross my fingers for 2 of them. Point being, I don't have a huge reserve for VS but I'm doing my best to find a way to get the cards I need.

Thats the thing though : 90 percent of all players will never make enough money playing TCGs to recoup the cost of all their cards . Thats like saying spend a thousand dollars on lottery tickets, because, you might win $1200. Its just retarded.
