The two X-Men use agility and style to run to the top of the ship. While Psylocke moves with a quick elegance, Gambit is the showman. The X-Men work well together. Gambit's showing off draws fire to him.

"Now, now, mon amis. Is dat any way to treat a boy who's just passing by?".

While he does that Betsy hits Deadshot with a feisty kick. She leaps off of Count Nefaria before he can grab her and is on her way.

"The girl...get her!" Nefaria screams.

"As soon as my world stops spinning," Deadshot says.

"We did pretty good, non? Imagine how good a team we could be wit de lights out."

"Remy, you are a flirt."

"Dats how Rogue fell for me, chere. It's a blessing and a curse."

"Try the latter," she responds.

Terrific story post there. Great dialogue. Great action. Obvious that they're favorites of yours.

That's the problem with Deadshot, nice attack but no defense at all. He tries for Hawkgirl, AV8 on DV12. Gets 9. Hawkgirl's out.
