Originally posted by BadAxe1 I have to disagree here. In the case of wildcarding I would say that you're not copying a power but a TA and there's a difference. The Serpent Society TA says"Give this character a power action, blah blah blah, this character ignores the effects of terrain. When Dr. Doom copies SS TA he can take a power action with running shot and copy SS TA allowing him to phase through a wall and shoot.
That would be my interpretation anyway.
And you would be wrong!
SS TA Says give this character a power action
RS says give this character a power action
That is two power actions. Two SEPARATE actions. If an action requires a certain type of action, it requires a certain type of action, period. It does not matter if the requirement is from a TA or power
Look, if you had one God, one offer of eternity, that exceeds everything you've ever wanted, with one opponent, would you ask for it? Or just let it slip?
ApologetiX-Look yourself in the mirror
OK, this took some set up. But it worked perfectly and it was a one time shot. I had hulk cornered on the roof. I force blast him off the roof and right into the waiting hands of a ring of the rest of my team (of course containg two close combat experts). he was dead before he could take a swing. The insult to injury was the damage he took in falling off the roof.
TE HE HE HE... one of the things i want to try is this team and this tactic
U count Nefaria +trickshot 230
R black panther 27
E destiny 23
E avalanche 26
V jean Grey 50
E Mandroid Armor 32
E Conartist 12
total 400
Perplex up count nefaria's range, TK him out the whole 10 yards with mandroid armor.. attack a support piece( like TK, or perplex, or outwit, or even prob control!!! and you dont have to worry about the hindering terrain thing! if outdoors) do 4 damage, and then run back... and have avalanche put up a barrier to keep your support pieces safe..... and then push and repeat, and heal with jean grey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!( in case of the warzone card!!!!)
Its not so mucha tactic but, always try to keep your strategy consitent with your figures. If you branch out too far with figures youll ruin the purpose. Example: If you really like stealth then use abunch of people that have stealth, not some people that don't have it till their last click where they have no other abilities or b/c the guy/girl looks good.
Hey spiderhulk. Your not losing it they havn't changed the force blast rule. I was talking about blasting an opposing fig.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, pizza in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, screaming "WOO HOO WHAT A RIDE!"
Arclight is a pretty scary new character for the set..
Tk arclight up to a group of people.. do quake.. Have quake give 2 damage to everyone (it's not hard to find people with super senses or toughness instead of imp or inv) and then hope they also get knockback into a wall or something..

BadBlack87Gn on XBL
Id really just say tk and about anything. I love that power...that and pc...I never make a team without one pc, and if i do...wow...i better be watchin out...
i have a new tactics the first one is use shadow king with 3 u-men then triple enhance then pb for 3 each then use N'astirh to triple mind control and attk there other figures then use ravon to prob it and use barrier and use pyro for barrier .
My best move is to tk Manthing exp. up to problem figure,
then use veteran Blade on hindering terrain to taunt that figure. This keeps that figure pushing to breakaway since it is required to attack Blade on the opponents next turn wether it has a tokken or not. Blade with willpower and stealth is the pushing machine because unless that figure has trickshot , superman,or ult. TA it will have to approach Blade with a sucessful breakaway.Meanwhile push Manthing to poison and let the fun begin.
I creamed a whole army of skrulls with only these 2 figures.
Manthing does mass damage for his first hit so tk him out there and swipe at the nusance with exploit weakness.
The reason to use exp instead of vet is that he gets his poison faster.
Have fun
