Day 3: There Can Be Only One

The large man had been drawing attention for many days. This didn't phase the large man, he'd been drawing attention for four thousand years. The players finally got the nerve to approach the Kurgan.

He surveyed the pitiful group of flesh assembled before him and began to laugh. The confused people only seemed to become more agitated by this and quickly strung him up. To their shock, when the rope snapped, the large man continued laughing, seemingly even louder than before.

"Forgive me Lord, for I am a Worm" He howled and conitnued cackling as he was swinging at the end of the noose.

The others were confused when a man from outside of the game appeared. "Let me be of assistance brothers."

The large man immediately stopped laughing and scouled at the newcomer. "MacLeod" he growled.
"You wouldn't dare, not now."

MacLeod drew his sword and cut down the rope, and the Kurgan,from his knees, screamed "THIS ISN'T OVER MACLEOD."

MacLeod half smirked as he stood before The Kurgan. "It is already, THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE" he shouted and then beheaded the Kurgan with a single swift strike. The heaven's opened and the previously serene sky erupted with lightning that struck the now headless body of The Kurgan.

MacLeod nodded to the stunned gathering of onlookers and simply walked out of the game.

Night 3: A Block Too Far

The unamused man with the prosthetic appeared on Television once again.

“Often I appear in front of you just repeating the words relayed to me inorder to make a quick buck. I don’t care if the product works, or doesn’t, if it makes you die horribly or changes your life for the better. Today is different, I’m here to sell a product that I truly and deeply “ The unamused man rolls his eyes “believe in.”

The unamused man holds up a tin to the screen “Winthrop’s own Sweet Potato Pie with Candied Yams. 'It’s delicious, even to my refined taste, but don’t take my word for it. Here, listen to this unpaid volunteer.”

A tall man chewing gum walks into frame.

The unamused man offers the tall man some of Winthrop’s own Sweet Potato Pie with Candied Yams. The tall man looks at the pie and chews his gum vigorously.


“I’m not eating that” Declared the tall man.

“That was the agreement, just eat the damn pie.” Leered the unamused man.

“No Freak, I’m not eating that disgusting looking piece of ####, once more I’m certainly not eating it when it’s handed to me by some pasty birth defected weirdo.” The tall man retorted.

“It’s make up you imbecile.”

The Tall man continued “Is that how you get your jollies? You dress up in weird costumes and hand strangers odd looking pie and film their reactions? Winthrop’s Own Sweet Potato Pie with Candied Yams...what is that? Is that even a real company? It’s sounds like a made up product, plus telling me it has candied yams is redundant, it’s already sweet potato pie….”

Mid rant the unamused man threw up his hands and said “I quit” and stormed off screen.

The tall man not even noticing, went on. “...for that matter I should be taking you all downtown. You, you behind the camera, where’s your permit? Hey, Come back here. This is resisting, don’t make me draw down on you”

The theme song and logo comes onto the screen as the tall man chases the cameraman.

Then the anthropomorphized sweet potato named Winthrop winks and says “I Yam what I Yam.”

Frank Nugent was chasing down a cameraman, screaming about a permit when a ball came out of no where and hit the cameraman square in the head. The cameraman was sent sprawling and the camera skittered across the pavement.

Nugent stopped and scanned the area, “I know the bastard is around here somewhere.” He heard a noise from behind him and spun and fired his gun deflating the ball that was about to hit his head.

“Oh Come on, that can’t be legal.” Someone could be heard yelling.

A referee ran up blowing his whistle and waving his arms. “Unsportsmanlike conduct Nugent, you’ve been warned, YOU’RE OUT!!.”

“Bull####” Nugent replied “You’d still be working for beans if it wasn’t for me, I say what’s legal.”

“You know that’s not the truth” said the man in the striped shirt, “The truth is…”

Nugent cut him off. “#### THE TRUTH” and leveled his gun at the man in the striped shirt.

The man in the striped shirt yelped and began running. Nugent chased after her him screaming “RUNNING ONLY MAKES IT WORSE”


ColonialBob has an anger problem and is out, he was Frank Nugent/ David Morse - 16 Blocks (Town). Some guy who really wanted to kill Mos Def...if he had succeeded he would have saved us some weirdness.

The mafia is having a heckova time this game. So far, they managed to get 1 kill off over three nights. That is quite rough.

If Igantz targeted Quebbster again, and it blocked the kill, something is going odd with that mafia. They have to have more than 2 members. I wonder if the third mafia member cannot make the kill unless the other 2 are dead.

Catching up on the thread a bit... wow. Apparently I'm even more unpopular than I normally am!

Work is rather busy, but I can be more audible after about 3:30 CDT as well. Apologies for the inconvenience, I'll peek in for lunch/break when I can before then.

Since I assume that the Dodgeball person is the SK, I think Quebbs is mafia (still).

Blocking Quebbs before, there was a chance that they though DF would be blocked. Not sure why they'd give him a kill again. I figured I was just blocking Mafia support. Maybe they thought I wouldn't block Quebbs (mal) because it would be obvious.
