On to the story.......

Johny saw the approaching Zombies and prepared for the coming attack................
But the zombies turned, looked to his right and started to chew the air..........


"The hell..?"

"Get off of me!!!!!!!!"

"Does any one else know what's happening here?"

Sue, unable to maintain her invisibility started to appear and looking freaked out by the attacking hoard.

As Scott saw her on the ground he had a flash back of all the times his teammates were injured and he was helpless to do anything........Bobby, Hank, Jean, Logan.......well not so much Logan. Scott almost smiled. Not this time he thought to himself, this time I can do something...............
"Torch, fly around behind them and keep that far one there. Kitty get Sue out of here. The JLA are in that shop(everyone could see them through the shops window). Betsy you stay here with me."

"Why would I do anything that you ask........"

"Well for starters, we have a teammate in need of help and you can do something about it. But mostly because I'm not asking, NOW MOVE!!!!!"

As Cyclops finished his rational his visor started to glow more intently.

"...........ok, lets go Sue."

Kitty and Sue phased through the wall/window out of the way. Johny, feeling better that his sister was out of harms way was ready to vent his anger at something. As he took to the air, one of the zombies grabbed his ankle.......only to have its hand burn off. Johny, didn't even look back. The three zombies all followed Johny's movements. As he circled around he saw one of the zombie hord starting to head after Psylock. That wasnt going to happen on his watch. He put up a flame wall that landed closer to the zombie than he intended and roasted him instantly......and that was a miss!

Cyclops, visor practically pulsing with the extra power saw that no one was in his way anymore, he could see them all. These guys were the ones that attacked Sue and there was no way that was going to happen again.

"Hey, over here. No.....more...shoes....for..... YOU!!!!!!!!!"
As the three zombies looked back at Cyclops he released the stored up power. With a blinding display the three zombies where blown away.......lifeless......again.....you know what I mean.

"Stay away from my teammates."

Sue and Kitty had just made it out of the way as Scott demolished the zombies. Seeing Hawkgirl and a lady in a trench coat and a scared civilian, they landed in the middle.

Kitty was feeling a little winded from the exertion, but Scott was right Sue had to be rescued.

Sue was feeling down, she was a member of the Fantastic 4. Some even said that she was the most powerful member, how could some stupid zombies give her that much of a problem...............

The 8 year old little girl, partially hiding in the rack of shirts, looked more startled buy the appearance of Sue than what was happening around them. She reached out and put a hand on her hero............

Little girl, "Are you OK?"
Sue startled by the little voice recoiled......
"Oh.......I'm fine." (still feeling like her heart was out of the fight)

"I was so scared until I saw you Mrs. Richards. I always tell my mommy that when I grow up I'm going to be a hero just like you. You're my hero. Mrs. Richards."
Sue taking a better look at the little girl noticed that she was wearing a FF Shirt that said "....if I could be like Sue...". Sue smiled. Apparently she had a little fan.
"Don't worry Mrs. Richards you'll get those bad thing back. I'm feel safe because I know that you're her to protect me."
She reached out with her other arm and gave a Sue a big hug. Sue couldn't believe that this little girl believed in her that much......... well she couldn't let her down. She hugged the little girl back and stood up.

"Thank-you, I'll be fine now. You need to get out of here, it's not safe. Go outside through there(pointing to the exit that has been cleared) and call your mommy."

"Yes, Mrs Richards."

As she started to leave she turned around and waved at her hero. Then she turned around and started skipping away with a huge smile on her face.

"Are you Ok Sue?"

Sue straightened a bit more, and looked at Kitty with a new determination...
"Yah, I'll be fine. Let's get back to it."
Kitty wasn't surprised by Sue bouncing back from that scary experience......... she was an admirer of Sue's too. In fact she had the same shirt the little girl had back at the mansion.

I glad it's not just me. But I have a hard time following the colorful posts also.

Why?

I never got a chance to ask Fist, I was skimming posts in the Smurf Wars and when I whent back to really read them his comment was like 5 pages back.

For me I'm partialy color blind and certain colors are tough to read.

I just copy and paste it to a notepad for reading.

1) Big Barda attacks the zombie in V24. Def. 13 – Att. 10 = need 3. Rolled 1,5=6 hit. Zombie takes 2 + 2 for CCE and is Koed.

2) Kendra Saunders pushed (no damage due to Willpower) and attacks the wall between Y28 & Z28.

3) Aquaman pushes and throws the Couch at V Criminal (Bob). Def. 13 – Att. 10 = need 3. Rolled 1,5=6 hit. [That is odd same numbers?] Bob takes 3 and is Koed. Aquaman takes 1 for pushing.

Free JLA) Rocket Red picks up Plastic Man and moves to Y28 and sets Plasticman down in Z28. Remember his shape change when you attack with the zombie Richard.

Aquaman ran to the front still carrying the couch. To his surprise a criminal passed him running the other direction. Aquaman was not about to let a criminal get behind them so he chucked the couch at him. The couch slammed into Bob and trapped him underneath it. “Have a seat. The cops will be here soon.”

Barda could not believe it. A second zombie was trying to chew on her cosmic rod chipping teeth and getting shocked for its trouble. She triggered the device again and incinerated the suicidal zombie. “You would think the undead would have more sense having died once already. Guess they did not learn from the first time.”

Agent Spalding ran up to Hawkgirl and said “Lets check out the back room.” Hawkgirl nodded and grabbed the agent’s arm. As Hawkgirl lifted Spalding she grunted and said “Might want to try Atkins to lose those unwanted pounds.” She then flew to the back of the room. There was no door. “Briliant Idea Mrs. Holmes lucky for you I can make doors.” With that Kendra pulled out her ax and smashed an opening in the wall to the back of a food stall.

Rocket Red grabbed the laughing Plastic Man and flew to the hole in the wall. Rocket Red mashed up Plastic Man and squished him into the small hole. Plastic Man “What . . . no . Wait . . . Mhff . . . Ow . . Hey! Watch it your gauntlets are COLD!” Plastic Man then expanded himself and widened the hole through to the other side. When his head and one hand had made it through he made a big show of putting his hand to his mouth and nose. He then took a big breath and forced the expanded part of his body through the hole widening it. He then looked at the zombie standing next to him. “What are you doing here? There aren’t any shoes in a Orange Julius.” The Zombie turned from the deep fat frier that it was standing in front of and said “Braaaainnsss!” Plas looked over his the zombies shoulders to confirm what was in the fryer. “EEEWWW!”

Maul of America Turn 10:

Story:

Joker retreats outside of the mall next to Deadshot. Once again the mall monitors and speakers turn on, and Jokers yells, “Not only have you destroyed my beautiful creations, but you have once again proved yourselves as hypocrites attacking someone without just cause. What did Bob every do to any of you? The answer is Nothing!!!. Yet you ruthlessly dropped a couch on his head and even after he saved the women behind the fountain. I ask you. Is there no end to your cruelty? It’s a good thing all of the monitors are also recording all of your actions. Just wait until the press gets a load of this. Huh, and they say I’m a criminal.”. Joker then shuts down the microphone and comlink’s Catwoman. Joker says, I told you to distract the one carrying the couch. Catwoman replies, “I did, I shook my booty in front of him. He must like fish or something, Because I’m a perrrrrfect 10 and no one can ignore my booty. Or Joker quipped, maybe your just not perfect anymore. Anyway shut up and listen, Do you see the man with the visor, Distract him quickly and don’t screw up. Catwoman hisses, “You got it boss!”. Cyclops is still looking for anymore zombies or enemies near by, he sees the woman dressed as a cat, in the store across the mall. Catwoman knows he is looking and pulls a small device from her pocket. She presses a button and the fountain explodes spraying water onto Cyclops knocking him to the ground. Grundy says, “Cool”. Catwoman says, “Now you know why I was in the water.” Joker saw the whole thing on his hand held monitor. Joker comlinks with Catwoman, and says “I knew cats hated water, but that’s just crazy. Bravo little kitty, you’ve got talent”. Deadshot moves along the outside of the mall and peers though a window, seeing a bystander inside.

After a discussion with DM. Catwomen has no LOS to cyclops and chooses not to outwit him.

Story:

The fountain explodes, but the device Catwoman planted fails to work to it's full potential. Catwomen hisses, "I knew I should never trust the Riddler."

With these online games I would always take the map over to Windos MS Paint and draw a straight line from the middle of one square to the middle of the target square to check. I usually don't eye it right either.

I am just going to pass and clear, as pushing at this point would not help.

Turn 11

Scourge attacks Zombie at AN9. 11AV vs 11DV = need 3. Roll a 10 (4 + 6). Zombie takes 2 and is KO'd.

Deathbird attacks Zombie at AP9. 10AV vs 14DV = need a 4. Roll a 4 (1 + 3). Zombie takes 4 and is KO'd.

Absorbing Man attacks Zombie at AP7. 9AV vs 14DV = need a 5. Roll a 6 (3 + 3). Zombie takes 4 and is KO'd.
