Did you guys see that The Tester's dial was posted? At 300 points he looks fair, but much like the other colossals, he is going to be nearly unbeatable at 600+ points unless you build to take him down specifically.
No, I haven't. But an unbeatable colossal? In Galactic Guardians? I for one am shocked! SHOCKED!

She looks really familiar. I just can't place it. I know who she is, she reminds me of someone else.

I'm kind of amazed that some younger kid hasn't done this yet given how many young kids emulate wrestling.
It's happened before. There are a few of these incidents...some make news, some don't. I'm sure this made the news because of the bizarre circumstance...a 110 lb. kid choking a 220 lb. man to death.
This is why WWE puts the "Please don't try this at home" thing out there. Apparently it wasn't clear enough so they got rid of the contraction: "Please do NOT try this at home."
Always thought it was interesting that "wrestling-inspired" garbage like this makes the news, yet idiots that emulate Jackass or some equally foolish endeavors generally don't. The media loves to beat up professional wrestling.
I've yet to see a 600+ point colossal that is beatable by a regular team that isn't built to take it down. No fun.
Really? That's strange to me. I've regularly seen colossals taken down by "Regular" teams in my area when you see them fielded. Granted, there are Colossals like the original Galactus, Spectre, and Starro that are nigh unbeatable, but I have seen EVERY other colossal taken down by "Regular" teams.

Tons of things like this have happened before despite the warnings and the wrestlers themselves asking/telling people NOT to do this at home.
As Jack said, the media LOVES this kind of stuff and thrives off of dragging Pro Wrestling through the mud. They have even done interviews with several wrestlers in the past (The one with Mick Foley comes to mind) where they do a good interview with the wrestler and it is handled in a respectful way, but when they go to air the interview on TV, they re-arrange the questions and the various answers to make them look like they're glad that the people have been hurting themselves and do everything they can to make the wrestlers look bad.

I think our interpretations of a regular team are not the same. I'll play Onslaught and you play a New Mutants theme team and we'll see how much fun it is for you. Now if you're idea of a regular team is more competitive than that, then we're not really talking about the same situation.

I don't know...
I've beaten Starro with a Legion team before...

You also may be a better player. Out of all my players, I've got one player that could probably beat the colossals, but if he ever plays a colossal, I don't care how good you are, you won't beat him. The colossal figures that are 600 points or more just aren't balanced.

I'm not trying to argue with you. I do agree. They are unbalanced to a degree. It doesn't make them unbeatable, but it makes them damn tough.

I beat Starro with a Legion team once too. One of the two times I beat him, and the one that didn't rely on insane luck AND a dedicated anti-Starro team. I pulled it off because my opponent wasn't paying any attention and never used three quarters of his powers.

Agreed. Except that I might be willing to call Starro literally impossible to beat with "most" teams.

Old-School and new Galactus, Starro, both Doc Manhattans* are nigh-impossible. Probably Spectre too with the change in Multi-Attack.
* Retail one is considerably tougher, Convention one might not be that bad.
Foom, Onslught and the Phoenixes are not hard to beat at all.
I can't remember the Anti-Monitors well enough to know for sure, but as I recall the non-Sinestro one wasn't all that tough, and the Sinestro Corps one was really tough.
