Mine'll be ready to play in 7 hours 54 minutes... 10 minutes 42 seconds... 1 hour 52 minutes... 3 hours 41 minutes... 1 hour 5 minutes... 9 hours 51 minutes. Let's just say that I might be able to play again someday.

I did actually get it downloaded, makes it a much cleaner interface. Still too easy to miss the Charge of Death from Rhino or Juggy when dealing with mobs. Ow.

Though, I now have 4 uniques for Thor... er, Bill. Well, technically five, so if anyone wants a low-level Mighty Mjolnir?

Also, until December 2nd it looks like there's +50% for xp, special and rare item finds. Just played Deadpool a bit at lunch and got through the prelude... jumped from 1 to 6 in like, 15 minutes.

His Feet Hurty power (Caltrops) is just amazingly fun. Not sure how they hurt Goblin... maybe they were getting sucked into the glider.

Battlefield has been eating my time lately. And Starbound hit beta yesterday so I expect to lose many hours in that as well. Add in 2 new consoles plus Super Mario 3D World and Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds... My gaming time is spread pretty thin these days.

Yeah, I know, I tend to be fairly monogamous in my games, until I find a new one.

Just been a lot of fun playing it. Though I still don't have a char at 60 yet. Got Widow at 43, Thor Beta Ray Bill at 38 and Deadpool at 39.

I've got a stack of freelance assignments that I need to wrap up by the end of the year, so if I'm sitting at a computer, I had really better be making words appear onscreen and not slaughtering AIM agents.

But I sympathize, hoping things get friendlier for people's schedules.

Anyway, got an extra Beta Ray Wade armor unique that is level 52. If someone has Deadpool and wants to be totally worthy, they can have it. Rokk, I know you play DP so you get first dibs.

EDIT: And... I totally forgot uniques aren't tradeable. Damn.

Got back to playing the other nite.

Funny. I've never understood why people hate Gambit so much - I loved him circa Extinction Agenda, Muir Island Saga, etc. - and was thrilled he was to be a PC.

But they made his voice so annoying I now understand. It's not like being Cajun automatically gives you that horrible of a voice. I know plenty of Cajuns - used to even specialize in Cajun cooking - and plenty of them sound just fine. This voice...it makes him almost unplayable.

Pity because he's got great play to him.

I'm not sure if I want to get him or not, honestly (got 355 shards). That voice makes me want to punch the computer. Of course, I've been playing Deadpool for the past week solid (hence why he's now 55), so I guess I can tolerate that. The play looks interesting.

The other thing is that Ghost Rider comes out on 12/20, and I DO want him. VENGEANCE!

(Also, tried the costume creation recipe with the crafter... got Punisher in Trenchcoat)

Head sleeve + armor boots + blue and fuschia spandex + trenchcoat + fingerless gloves = best costume ever for a professional thief. It would be like Batman going on patrol with a safety orange jumpsuit and a coffee can full of bells attached to his belt. Plus, you know that the guy must just reek of crawdads and VD. He's probably got so many different forms of gonorrhea that it counts as a secondary mutation.

Digging back through the thread (a few folks asked me on the FB page how long I was playing), I noticed this and well, now that I have Deadpool, I just have to note that he is one of the few characters that reacts when he meets another one of him. Something like:

"Which one of us has the goatee"
"Deadpool TEAM UP!!!"

or the like.
