Question about SW:Armada, since it's not exactly a FlightPath game, but it seems FlightPath-adjacent at the least, and I'm sure we'll be talking about it here anyway should I include their releases in the first thread as well?

SW:Armada added.......and hot dang, I forgot about the price point of the expansions.......one core and Wave 1 checks in at about MSRP of $250.

I remember the reaction to both X-Wing and Attack Wings' price points.

Still very interested in the game, no chance I'll be picking it up at those prices though.

It looks fun, but the 2 hour game time combined with the price makes it a no go for me.

Seems to me like the most prudent course of action with Armada would be to split the starter with a friend that wanted the other faction, then pick up just the expansions for your chosen faction. That, or split two starters with a friend, each of you doubling up on your chosen faction, so you each have all the rules, tokens, etc. required to play.

Wave 5 is now shipping, release date of 11/16. Finally.

Not too surprising, but X-wing Wave 6 got pushed back to Q1 2015.

Fine by me. I still haven't had a chance to play with my Decimator and YT-2400!

Played my decimator the other day, with the scenario from the rule book, it's a wonderful ship, but WHOA is it a bus at turning.

True, but with no RED movement and a turret it can change how the Empire plays.

Oh trust you me I'm THRILLED by it! It is one of my new favorite ships to come out. It's been a long time coming for the Empire to get some of the 360 arc love.
