I'm certain that everything on that poster other than Norman Osborne and MAYBE the Ironman/Warmachine duo is an SR. There is no way they'll give the realms Deadpool (highly wanted) and Rulk (Less highly but frequently mentioned) at any rarity that won't cause people to buy in droves in an effort to obtain them. The intro of that classic Doc Ock at SR rarity sort of indicates that one to me; Deadpool almost certainly will be the same.

Marvel will probably continue to bend years of comic book continuety just to match the Hollywood versions of their characters. The "One More Day" arc was a true spit in the eye to long term readers.
With every decision Joe Quasada makes I become more of a hardcore DC reader. Killing Cap for political views, rewriting Spider-man's history to match Hollywood, and making lame fallback stories like Secret Invasion are killing Marvel comics for me.
Killing Cap for political reasons? The hell?
He was killed because Brubaker had a story to tell.
It was always the plan that he would die and come back. Brubaker just accelerated it and tied it in with Civil War cause it was a perfect oppertunity.
And nobody is spitting in your eye. That's just the most absurd thing ever.
Also, how is Secret Invasion a "lame fallback story"? It was in the plans for ages. And at least was worth reading unlike Countdown, Final Crisis, and etc.
The art used for the ironpatriot was the same art posted earlier in this thread. All I can say is that sometimes you have to sculpt things the way you are told.
I can't post photos until the set is released. The poster looks pretty good though, I think they are tying to improve the paintjobs from the look of it.
Well, that explains that.
The sculpts look awesome. I was sure they were digital sculpts. I don't much care for the brick figure, but that's not because I don't think it's an awesome sculpt job, but because I think it's kind of a cumbersom concept for a Heroclix figure (and if the rumors are true that he's on a 2X2 base, I won't be using him in games...he'll look great on top of my monitor next to my CPoC though ).
Hopefully the figures in the next DC set look this good as well! There were only a couple standouts in BatB for me (Inertia/Kid Zoom and the Parademons, though they're static as well...that's pretty much it), but the Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Deadpool and Red Hulk are all just so cool (IM/WM would be cool if they weren't a duo). That Red Hulk in particular is just wicked...he might beat out Rampaging Hulk as my favorite Hulk piece...I'll probably have to collect 2 so I can repaint one green.
CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess. Avatar Summoning: Original GotG, Melter, Whiplash
Kinda like when Technicolor came out in the olden days!
Seriously, awesome presentation, it makes me want to buy a brick, and I'm to CHEAP to buy a brick....even if I was poor, I'd buy it maybe. LOL j/k kinda
The Iron Patriot sculpt is also based on the cover of Dark Avengers #1, if anyone wanted more than one reference for the pose. It's quite iconic, as he spends most of the time posing rather than fighting much. It stands out from being 'just another Iron Man' in my opinion due to the pose. Does he seem a bit small, though? It would be nice if him and Norman Osborn were the same relative size, so that I could mod one to be maskless.

I am thinking they're all SRs and I'm not happy. I cant afford that many SRs.
That's just a hand swap. It's like the easiest alternate piece option other than a head swap. Just make two sets of hands, one body. Miniature manufacturers do this sort of thing all the time.
If you say so. If NECAWK would definitely do this, then I'd be fine with it.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Reed and Supes are entirely different cases. And neither of them are losers.
Spider-Man married a model. Black Cat is in heat for spider-love. Gwen Stacy wasn't exactly a fugly looking chick. One of the first Brand New Day scenes involves Peter's mouth getting jammed with some girl's tongue. The idea that Peter Parker is a loser is a bunch of hooey - yeah, he does have a certain amount of suck in his life, but some people waaaaay over play it.
Furthermore, how long was Peter married for? 20 years? 30? Claiming that good stories can't be told about him when he's been married that long is flat-out ridiculous. The only reason Spidey isn't married now is,
1) Quesada wanted a cheap gimmick to generate sales and,
2) Quesada wanted Spider-Man to return to the days when Quesada read comics.
Neither of these are good reasons to trash decades worth of character development.

The only thing major they undid was Magneto being Xorn. Cause it was a terrible swerve and destroyed the character. Everything else is pretty much still in play.
No. Morrison turned mutants into a subculture, into their own "thing." Quesada decided to go and depower almost every mutant, thus eliminating the whole mutant subculture thing that Morrison set-up. One of the most significant things Morrison did with mutants was undone by House of M.

Joe Quasada said it himself, he said killing Steve Rogers felt like the right thing to do because of the then current tide of politics. He also said that bringing him back wasn't part of Marvels "five year plan". Low and behold, a new administration and Cap is back, after only three years I belive.
I started reading Spider-man in 2002, just about long enough to see every single event I had read get retconed. That's what I call a spit in the eye.
And Secret Invasion was almost like damage control on Civil War. I'm sure it was planned well ahead of time, but SI and Siege are almost nothing more then tools to get the Marvel Universe to where it was before Avengers Dissasembled.
- That IM/WM duo is still the digital sculpt picture.
- Based on the paint job, Rulk probably won't be SR
- No one has mentioned the eyes on these figs ... from now on, please, please, please let all the eyes look like Norman's.
- Wow that GG is fantastic. I love the FF sculpt, but I think this one could be better.
- I could Wolverine and Daken being re-paint twins, but hopefully they will only do it if they have separate arms for each. Sure the two of them don't run around all day with their claws out, but I think it would be pretty lame if they were both sheathed just to re-use the sculpt.
