Cool, thanks! I'm gonna get it in gear and start keeping up on it a little better, but I'm swamped at the moment, so it'll be a few days.

And, just to not let an opportunity slip by, we do still need at least a couple mor players to field Firelord teams. We've got 1 non-FL player waiting still, and it looks like 1 may drop out. Come on you people who believe FL is broken, step up and prove it!

I've got a little extra time on my hands right now - I'd be happy to play a couple games at a time, if we're short one person on my team. I'd rather do that, than have the guy who's waiting for an opponent drop out of our little club here.

And don't worry - if I lose any games, I won't try to claim that it was just too confusing to play in more than one game at a time :-)

Actually, I've got the 1 guy waiting paired up and I'll post it over in the pairings thread in a bit. However, we do have what looks like 1 FL player who bailed, so you may wind up playing that series. I've talked it over with the non-FL player, and we thought giving it till Saturday would be fair, after that, if there's no response, I'll pair you up with him, OK?

BTW, I wouldn't be surprised if other people don't make it all the way thru their series's (plural?). Not a big deal - forum games aren't for everyone, and some people will either lose interest or get busy with "real life." If we get a couple hundred games total, as far as I'm concerned the data will have some validity, regardless of a couple more or less players in our sampling pool.

Well, I would like to join on in this - sounds like a lot of fun and the most creative way I have seen of handling the Firelord debate.
I could go either way, since I think he's not "broken" but a bit too nasty, so I guess I will play on the Using-Firelord team, assuming its not too late to join in.

Where are you going to post the results as they come in?

We'll start a new thread in this forum, I think, once the 1st round is done. I've posted a few over in the resources thread, in the Play By Post forum, in the meantime.

Yeah, I'll start a new thread to post results in a couple days probably. I've started a new spreadsheet to keep track of the results, and I'm in the process of entering the data from the games thus far.

I'll place a link in this thread to the "results" thread - so stay tuned.
