Speaking of organizing Clix, one of these days, I'm just going to bring out all of my boxes and go through every single piece and separate them by, "will I, or will I not play this?"

Problem is, what do I do with the hundreds upon hundreds of Clix that I decide I don't really want? I've purchased a brick of every Booster Brick set since GoTG (and a case of Flash), plus the stuff I've won and the singles I've bought. Any suggestions?

My new way of getting rid of extras is to run Mystery Booster sealed events at my venue. I open boosters very carefully to reuse them. Then I fill the empty boosters with my extras and tape the boosters shut. Each player gets two boosters to build a team from and thereby each player rids me of ten clix from my collection. .

None. I sold 90% and gave away the last 10 to some new players.

I feel like a free man now. And the money is going to finishing the basement.

What made you lose so much interest in the game that you decided to rid yourself of 100% of your collection?

Short version of a long story, is a local player drove all the fun from the game. He could only play to run the most broken combo he could imagine.
Stuff happened at a tournament and it completely burnt out my desire to play. Tried twice afterwards, the spark is gone. X-Wing is more fun and less broken. And also a lot cheaper.

The same uncharismatic munchkin ####s all over clix where I play too. (with assistance from 1 or 2 similar jiveasses). People literally walk in the door carrying their clix, see that guy, say "Nope!", and walk out.

I played a clix game last night. had fun. (3-way BR. casual as ####. I played a borrowed A.Snowmman, along with 3 black cats, an Occultist, and a whatshisname Blackthorne I found abandoned on one of the tables.)

I still own a few....King Thor, everything with Monster keyword...JLI...I'd like to get rid of some more. Changes in the game combined with more annoying players showing up killed my interest. I'm more into X-wing, Star Wars RPG and reviving interest in B/X D&D.

Then you will have to join his Furry group or hit up the next Furry convention to see the Ginger Fox.


Not sure he has played X-Wing since he flew a TIE swarm in an Epic game and Micah had Lt Blount and 5 Z-95s outfitted with Assault Missiles. He lost 7 TIEs and a shuttle in the first round of combat, just to those missiles. It was brutal to watch.


I wonder if he wears that stupid hat and duster over his fox costume?

I am so glad there's no munchkins in my area.
