"A double-base character must end its movement so that its base rests on one of the squares within its movement range."
Someone want to clarify them? Does this mean the full base? So you can't just have Ghost Rider do a 180 at the end of his move to squeeze that extra square out of his range?
No, you can swing his base around and attack with the other end. Its base just has to end on one of the squares within its movement, but the other half of the base can be in any square adjacent to that square.
So all of these Wildcards can copy the alternate abilities?
That Is So Flippin' Weak!
Having seen players already pull the Sue Storm/ Spidey 2099/ Jinx/ Prometheus team, I have to say if this remains the "official" ruling, all of my venues are getting a big house rule for that card, if not banned all together.
And count me out for any sort of regional events for the future.
Heck, if this is the direction of the game, I think I'll really need to reconsider the sheer ammount of time I take to run tournaments, as I generally run special scenarios to discourage cheese.
Good clarifications otherwise, but COME ON!!!!!! How is that NOT a broken mechanic? And don't you say "Disbanded".
If there is a mechanic that can only be countered by 1 card (or requiring you to build Pulse Wave onto your team), it's broken!
But really, I welcome those types of teams on the Regional level. It may be annoying, but I think they're far from unbeatable.
I recently saw a game with the New FF and a Spidey2099 trying to use the Alt FF TA card. That 19 Defense didn't really do so much against Armor Piercing poison.

Plus, it raises the value of Pulse Wave again, since that ignores the borrowed Defense values, too., as many have pointed out in various threads.
So, no sounds from people concerning Disbanded being able to cancel the Power Cosmic? I realize it doesn't affect many figures, but still... Interesting.
• A transporter using the special transporter Move and Attack ability may continue its movement after making an attack, even if it became adjacent to an opposing character when making the attack.
• A transporter may only carry a single character.
Does that mean the transporter doesn't have to stop or break away if it isn't a flyer? Shall we infer that Thunderbolt or Wildcard transporters may not use the Green Lantern Corps TA? Thanks for clearing that up...
It just ruffels my tail feathers that a feat like this (0 points no less) basically has to alter team builds for competetive play. :disappoin And just when feats were making just about *any* theme team viable.
*deep breath*
I had like 3 cans of Dew after lunch. Not a good choice for FAQ day

Which makes me wonder the follow-up question: were there people out there who'd end Transporter movement outside their movement range?

If you're talking about stopping while in the middle of a transporter attack, then yes, that is correct.

The TA rules will overrule any regular rules, so if you have a GL Corps TBolt or Wildcard Transporter, they will still be able to carry up to 8 figures.

Hey...I'm on that bus too. I would be all for the Alt FF Feat having some sort of cost. Just due to the fact that it's such a different mechanic than the other TA, and in my opinion, much more valueable. Ah well, now to just dismantle those teams.

Well then why doesn't it say so? All it does is repeat what's already in the rules with the added phrase saying that being next to someone doesn't magically force you to stop. All that really says definatively is that flyers can keep moving after the attack. Do they even read these things before posting them?
For that matter...

So now we have to fit all of a double-base into a single square? Good luck standing one of these things on its side...
the wording is odd but it seems to indicate that a giant character can't pick up an object in the same square as them? are they too tall to reach their toes?

I was kind of wondering about that one too. I haven't gotten all the way down the list of so-called clarifications to complain about that one yet.

If you can't see 'em, you can't touch 'em.
