On Ultimates 2 #9.....I'd hang fire on accusing Pym of being a traitor. Yes, he may have been contacted by Loki and the others but I reckon Pym may well be the one who ends-up saving the day....

Pym won't and can't do anything in this massive event. The only thing I can think of is Pym freeing Thor and/or Cap which then unites the Big Three (Cap, Tony & Thor) to save the day. Which is also quite fitting especially when the rumored (I really don't know if this is true or not) Ultimate Avengers is going to be formed.

yeah, I'm seeing either Pym under mind control (ala the origin of Yellowjacket + Ultron in the early issues of the Avengers), or that he was just being taunted, simiar to how Banner was in Issue 3(? could have been 2?), when he was talking to the camera before they execute him. The coming back to Janet thing with a new found self-confidance is very reminicent of the old Yellowjacket as well...

I'm leaning heavily towards the Ultron Mind-control thing, though, as a result of Loki's comments in issue 9.

I personally would like to See Bruce comeback as Ultimate Hulk and join the team. Could have had Bruce's "death" faked,cause heck we know he's not ddead just MIA or atleast hope not. Him and Ultimate Abonination would be a sweet battle.

Well, Fury is already aware that Banner is alive and well, as he was picked up via satellite feed in Alaska.

I realise that the whole "major heroes getting whacked" is largely irrelevant, and
just padding setting up the whole "story of the little heroes" thing, but my quibble
(being a Spidey fan) is that instead of just blowing him up with the rest of the
New Avengers, they actually singled him out, in order to have him killed by what
appears to be nothing more than a mercenary from the future with a gun.
I'm having to assume this is set pre-Other, and that Pete's sickness is slowing him
down a lot.
