Marrina's pretty clearly blocking Mandarin's LoF to Sub-Mariner (yes I did that on purpose). He's got a whole host of other targets, though...

Sure you don't want to attack Black Manta instead? I mean, he's obviously the biggest threat here.

Captain Mako pushes to P14, attacks Katana. AV10 on DV? Can't seem to get on H\Wizkids right now, and I don't know of anywhere else to get stats on CD figures (except rummaging through my own collection. I'm pretty sure I've got this Katana) However Mako's roll is 9, which should be a hit whatever her DV is, for 3 damage.

"Soon the whole world will tremble at the mention of my name," the villain replied arrogantly.

The savage shark-man rushed forward, pouncing on Katana, attacking her with vicious teeth.

"Get back, monster!" she declared.

"Oh no, sweetheart. You know how sharks are, one they taste blood, there's no stopping them!"

Don't forget to show Cap Mako's move to P14. Is it a true sign of geekiness to admit that his figure looks kinda cool to me?.

Ok retaliation for Katana. Needs 8 to attack Mako, rolls 10. (2 5s). BCF roll is 5. 4 damage to him and knockback to O10. Too bad, he's kinda fun.

Now for Sunfire vs. Marrina. You of course give me no choice but to attack her but she's got an interesting dial. You need to attack her to make her worthwhile. He needs 4, rolls 6. She takes 3 and is now TOUGH. Manadrin outwits her bcf for the time being to make her less so.

I guess we'll have Shi take out Casptain Mako. Needs 4, rolls 8. Mako is food for the sharks. Truly sorry.

Shi says nothing as she moves with more precision, her mask hiding any emotion as her blades topple Captain Mako. She then walks away.

"Marrina. I dislike hurting a little creature such as yourself. You are simply on the wrong side," Sunfire says, "I offer you the chance to walk away. I would like to say it is out of a sense of honor ...however truthfully I would rather spend time facing the vainglorious Sub-Mariner. I offer this chance to you...once."

Marrina smiles and then lunges for Sunfire. Sunfire moves away and simply says, "So be it." His bombards her with his sun-induced powers.

After the attack Marrina is not the same, her size and demeanor, her entire look...altered.

"Oh my..." Sunfire says, "What have I done?".

Poor Mako. I hardly knew ye. I realized we both made taxiing mistakes in this game. Sunfire shouldn't have been ablt to taxi Mandarin, because Mandarin's a flier as well, but the Marrina has Battle Fury, so she shouldn't be carryable either. So I guess it's like football where the two penalties cancel each other out.

The enraged Marrina lunged at the Mandarin. He used one of his rings to shoot forth a burst of fire. The aquatic creature instictively drew back from the heat.

"Pathetic," Mandarin gloated.

The Mandarin's force blast ring goads the beastial side of Marrina into attacking. Then his cold blast ring slows her down enough for a second, stronger hit by the force blast ring.

"You poor creature. You can barely stand," Mandarin turns to the others, "You see, I lead not simply by words but by example too."

Gosh I love the Mandarin. He should be so useful in EVERY game. He's easily a top 10 villain for me. . By the way, I kind of expect to do well in this game...not that I'll win but only Namor and Marrina are real threats (darn that Namor and his looooooooooooong dial).

Sub Mariner grabs the HO from J16, Charges to I18, attacks Mandarin. AV10 on DV17, needs 7. Gets 10. No doubt you'll invoke Jinx. Reroll is 4.

Aquaman pushes to attack Katana, AV8 on DV15 (+2 if we're using the new Combat Reflexes rules). Gets 10, which hits either way. BCF roll is 2. Not quite enough to put her out and Aquaman takes 1.

"Imperius Rex!" The Sub-Mariner grabbed a car and flew into the air to throw it at the Mandarin. The battle cry caught the attention of Jinx, however who cast a spell, causing the gas in the tank (it was nearly empty) to explode, wrenching it our of Namor's hands and over the side of the bridge. "Curse you, woman," he raged.

"Nice swordplay," Aquaman admitted, "but I'm pretty good with a blade myself." He hooked one of Katana's swords with his hook and twisted it out of her hand. DIsarmed, and momentarily shocked, Katana was wide open for a right cross. "And I've been at this a lot longer," he explained.

So Mandarin of course will outwit Subby invulnerability.

Sunfire attacks Subby. Needs 7, rolls 5. Reroll is 9. 3 to Subby.

Katana on Aquaman. Needs 7, rolls 4.

Shi vs Marrina. Needs 7, rolls 10. (2 5s). That should knock her back to G13 and off the upper highway.
