Looking at this fig now, with the leadership adjustment... I like it. I'll use him on my 400 point X-Factor Team.

Darth and Wampa are right -- the Leadership tweak makes this guy worth a look, although the manufacturers dropped his dial in the purple paint. At his cost he can de-token a bunch of figs with his keywords. The late Leadership works well in terms of comic accuracy. Forge is always at his best at keeping his teammates in the fight when things are looking their worst.

Well, the new 2013 rules make him worth his point a bit more too

All of these years of players bashing this figure because of his low stats and NO ONE has noticed that he was specifically designed to not even require his stats. 6 out of 10 powers on his dial DON'T REQUIRE STATS! Forceblast, smokecloud, leadership,outwit,perplex and support. Who would use him as an attacker? That single penetrating click is just in case your team needs a secondary attacker or back up. This figure is a Swiss army knife of support.

Found this guy in my venue's dollar bin and snatched him up right away (almost poking another player's eye in the process). He is the ultimate support and nice excellent addition to an x-factor or x-men team. I'm kind of hoping he gets a remake in the WaXM set, but if not, I'm pretty happy with this by proxy.
