biz, I'm like you. I HATE dropping books, but sometimes it's a bit obvious that it's time to let something go.

My prettier half keeps me on my tose so I have to very selective about my comics:
Titles I'll always have:
JLA

Others I get:
Justice, absolutely phenomenal.
Dark Horse comics Conan
52; with it to the end. I like it!

Those I'm checking on:
The New Green Arrow series with Connor Hawke
JSA

Keeps:
Nightwing. I can't defend this other then he is my favorite DC character and I can't stop buying the book, but it has to get better soon, right? Right? Anyone? Helllllloooo.

I dropped all of my DC titles(except nightwing) after IC, I just didn't want to try and keep up with all the changes and all the confusion(its a year later, but they don't want to tell you all the changes, so they will show you the missing year, but only on some characters), I can wait for the trades to read the good stuff and I can keep my confusion to a minimum. I wish they would have just done the whole OYL story in every book, but I guess 7 books about Batman and Superman not doing anything for a whole year would not sell so well. I hear 52 is good, so I can't wait for the trades on that one.

Add:
Nothing until they can show me some consistency in the storyline, although I am close to getting JSA back, I loved that book and hated IC for interrupting it, and basically closing it down.

~sigh~ My pull list is like Hydra...I trim one and two (usually more) take its place...

The OYL isn't confusing in the least...

Keeping:

52 - I love misteries.
JSA - My favorite team book.
Teen Titans - My second favorite team book.
JLA - A JLA story not written like poop? Sign me up.
Shadow Pact - I love the magic side of the DCU.
Batman - I'll be getting the Morison one once he gets back to it, and I'll keep with the Dini one.
Superman - Both the Busiek and Johns series, and all stars.
Aquaman - Til Busiek goes poof.
Justice - Purty pictures. And again, a good JLA story. I'm as baffled as you are.
Green Lantern - Almost on my chopping block. Even in GJ's hands I find Hal has the personality of a peice of cardboard.
Astro City - What ever the mini is called.
All Star Batman - The amount of stupidity in this book tickles my belly.

Cutting:

Martian Manhunter - I forgot this even existed, so I haven't picked up anything past #1. Probably a sign.
Flash - This series was about as impressive as someone dying his hair from brown to hazzlenut. I vote that the last six issues get a SBP fixing punch and we start over with someone more competent writting.

What am I keeping?

JSA - #1 was a great read
Wonder Woman - I just wish it came out monthly
Teen Titans - I do love teen angst in a comic book
52 - I don't know why I like it, but I just do... I think it is the fact that I don't have to wait a month for it to come out.
Supergirl and the Legion of Superheroes - the first book I read was the Legion and the Fatal Five battling the sun -eater. I will buy it until the end.
Birds of Prey - the only Bat family title I read.
