Heroes United: Turn 1

1) "We've dealt with the imposter Batman, but we're far from done yet!" Batman growls. "Follow my lead, don't ask questions and don't pull your punches no matter what they look like!" Batman pulls out a swingline and swings to F19

free) "You always were a hot-head Carter!" Batman mutters, throwing an expertly aimed batarang at Hawkman, neatly clipping his wings. Batman outwits Hawkman's charge (because I can!)

free) "I fear we are already too late, irrevocable damage might already have been caused to the fabric of reality..." Wanda whispers to herself, carefully moving to D9 with her Brotherhood TA

2) "I think one of them got a mite too hasty there!" Johnny Alpha smiles, putting down his binoculars. "Ready to rock and roll flame-face?" Not waiting for an answer, Johnny activates his teleportation device and aims it at Firelord who vanishes in a cloud of blue sparks. Johnny Alpha TK's Firelord to F18

3) "I told you, you will address me as Firelord, or not at all!" The imperious herald shouts, quickly realising that Johnny is no longer there. Instead he turns his frustration on the unfortunate Hawkman and levels his Firestaff. "Burn Terran!" Firelord shoots Hawkman. 13 atk. vs 15 (+1 from terrain) def. Needs a 3. Roll is: (3,1) for a lazy hit. Hawkman takes 5!

free) "Let them come in numbers greater than the stars in the sky, the Lion of Olympus shall not waiver. Tremble with fear all ye who would oppose us and know that on this day you face the Son of Zeus himself!" Hercules bellows, taking a single step forward to C13 with his Avengers TA.

4) "He sure is loud, ain't he?" Abbey comments to no-one in particular, moving to G18

5) "Yeah, you almost prefer Bruce's icy silence over that!" Dick grins, leaping to H6

free) The batarang that smacked Donnie upside the head emits a brief electro-magnetic impulse, frying Blizzard's electronics. Batman outwits Blizzard's pulsewave

2) "Let the hunt, begin!" T'chala utters, sneaking forward to J12

free) Black Panther presses a button concealed in his gloves and an array pf ultra-powerful heat-lamps hidden in the area around Blizzard activates. Black Panther outwits Blizzard's barrier

Err. That was a typo on my part with the object, I never noticed it before you mentioned it here. It should be at F19, which is where I have had at all the time on my map (obviously), not E19. It's my stupid mistake so we can continue from here (with me kicking myself), or we can adjust the object slightly and you can redo your turn, it's entirely up to you

Yeah I was wondering why you put it in E19..I'm like..that's a weird spot. Yeah we can fix it to put it in F19. Bats gets an extra click since Blizzard would've missed but Anni still hits. I'll edit it now and then it's off to bed for me.

1) "Ouch, these guys are playing rough!" Abbey moans quietly shuffling out of Firelords way. Abbey moves to G17

2) "You think yourself a master of the cold little Terran?" Firelord smiles, voice dripping with scorn. "The icy chill of deep space affects me not, so how could you ever hope to do so? All you can do here, is BURN!" Firelord levels his staff at Blizzard and unleashes the Power Cosmic! 13 atk. vs 13 (+1 from terrain) def. Need a 3. Roll is: (3,2) for a 5 and a hit! Blizzard takes 5 and is burned to a crisp for the KO!

3) "Primary target located" Alpha reports, delivering payload to commence operation Bug-squash!" Johnny points his teleporter towards Hercules and a flash of blue light, the Prince of Power vanishes, only to reappear right next to Annihilus. Johnny Alpha TK's Hercules to J14

4) "Stand back and fear not little mortals, but watch in bliss and rapture as Hercules, Son of Zeus slays this monstrous dragon!" Hercules bellows at the top of his lungs, throwing a mighty punch at the Death-that-Walks! Hercules punches Annihilus. 11 atk. vs 16 def. Needs a 5.
