I don't agree, but then I don't like fielding tentpoles. It's not that difficult to build a team that would give Superman problems. Here's one example:
C Batman 75
C Green Arrow 70
C Gypsy 44
UC Bronze Tiger 60
R Dream Girl 50
299 points. Batman, Green Arrow and Bronze Tiger all have great AVs, so they will most likely hit Superman, especially backed up by PC. With Bat's Outwit, Superman cannot count on his damage reducers to save him, and late in the game Superman will have problems hitting Gypsy's 19 DV...
Of course it requires lucky pulls, but my point remains: A well-built swarm will pull Supes apart.
Question about shrunk. Does Shrunk only affect Giants or does it affect all characters on the battlefield?
Meaning I use Shrunk on Starro, does the halved range affect guys like merlyn, batman, green arrow etc? or not because they do not have the giant symbol.
Please tell me I have a game in like 2.5 hours

Honestly if you are looking for GOD team this would be the one to go with

In the bank, maybe - but Icicle just dosen't get the same milage on the Harbor map (we've been using that map at one of the venues I attend), mostly because you can't put barrier tokens on water.

A big thing I notice here and I have been playing since the first set (Infinity Challenge) and this is the first time in sealed that common figures are DOMINATING the tournament scene.

Quoted for truth, and a hip-hip-hooray for Seth and the rest of Wizkids design team. Nothing was more frustrating than going into a sealed event hoping to get a silver bullet (like KCGL) only to pull a few duds.
Justice League is the only set I can think of where pulling an SR is almost a handicap when it comes to building a team.
I can't see myself using any of the following in a 300 point sealed:
Doomsday
Super-millions
Green Lantern
Lobo
Amazo
Depending what I pull I might be able to use (but wouldn't reach for first):
Big Barda & MM
Power Ring
Time Trapper
And the I could probably make good use of:
Shining knight (cost effective)
Wonder-Million (decent Brick)
Flash-million (although the Starro Herald offers much of the same at cheaper cost)
Bat-Million
Even the best picks have an equivelantly cheaper, less rare figure that brings more to the table (IMO) - namely the aforementioned herald, the R Wonder Woman, C Batman and R Vigilante...

Soaring can be outwitted? It's not even a power is it, it's just a flight mode right?
The Outwit description specifically says you can cancel a figure's ability to soar, so yes it's legal.
Also, range to a soaring figure is not halved for outwit purposes.

Ahh but this is where i totally disagree... Supes could swoop in and take down the batman, staying out of GA's range. When hes sorted out, i could run straight into Dream girl and obliterate her. After that i'll go straight into Gypsy and knock her straight past her 19 defence with defend. After all of this i'd be knocked in a few clicks, so i'd have to go straight for GA. He'd be a tough combatant and im sure i'd be knocked back 3-4 clicks... after hes knocked down i'd go straight into the Tiger. This is ofc not taking into account that i've got a GA standing back firing back.
I played a Supes team last week on the small JL map. My team was Supes and Bronze Tiger with BFC Shrunk. Rolled 2 Critical Misses with Supes and lost the first match. :speechles
