I like putting drag on a charcter (like Dragon Man) and then breaking away into soaring and then giving it a drop.

Besides...Soaring really helps out Archangel and Falcon's otherwise pointless white power.

I like Soaring and would hate to se it go. Not beause of the HSS to-yo's cause I don't do that. But it has a significant strategic value simply becuase it is so underused and so unexpected.

I only want to see the flight stands go, I mean do we even need an indicator, can't we just declare it and remember? or maybe turn their card sideways?

i'm pretty easy going with WK and their policy to just change things on the fly to better the 15 people who want them to change things... so i like dogs

Regardless of if they change soaring rules or not, it should be something done IN a starter set. Talk about rules nightmares!

I sincerely hope you don't believe every one who plays HC is willing to express their opinion on this and is therefore responding to this thread! I think a better way to express what you seem to mean would be to say 'the majority of people who have responded to this thread so far have expressed the desire to see soaring go away, and there are more than 15'.

While this may prove to be an accuarte sample of how all HC players view soaring, it could just mean that most players don't care enough one way or the other to even bother posting an opinion.

I've use soaring, but not enough for its departure (if the rumors are accurate) to bother me, and if it doesn't go away, no big deal since I've been able to deal with it when I had to over the last few years.

I guess that means I like dogs... After all, fuzzy is cool!

Try as I might, I can't think of a single reason to get rid of soaring. HSS bricks are no excuse, since Outwit works from a full 10 squares to either counter HSS or even soaring.
Saving a few bucks on flight pegs is about the lamest excuse I can think of.
No change has had me as irritated as this one. This is a change that, for me, makes Heroclix be something other than Heroclix.

I think this whole anti-soaring argument got way off track at some point. WizKids was (supposedly) planning on getting rid of flight stands and just changing how soaring works. I don't think there are very many people who actually want to get rid of soaring all together (or maybe there are).

It seems to me that getting rid of soaring takes away a huge aspect of flight. Bad idea, in my opinion.
