Great review as usual, DemonRS. I haven't played against the "Goddess" Storm yet, so the DR Storm would definitely take my pick as most able Storm click. I hate seeing that piece across the board from me when I start a game.

Thanks for the review! I think the SR Storm is priced about right, compared with what you get with the Danger Room version. I still like the DR version best, though, especially when she's paired with Havok. Put those two on a roof with hindering terrain and Psylocke to guard them and you have a 5-damage sniper available every turn (if you alternate). That's gonna hurt whoever Karma Mind Controls into their path.
the DR Storm is indeed the best t use in tourneys for her cheap cost , but
the SR Storm is a dream come true - now her stats represented her close enough.
I wonder what her Veteran version would be in the future. Now , in the latest comics series , She appears among many different Marvel teams aside from the X-Men , suchs as the Avengers, New Fantastic Four, Black Panther... so she could have the wildcard ability in the future with those keywords as well

I am really glad they finally made Storm into a 100 pt fig. It seems like some of the female charaters don't get the justice they deserve. She and Scarlet Witch, for example, are very powerful offensive superheroes but for some reason they have been nothing really to get excited about except for support and third-string attackers (although DR Storm would probably be considered a second stringer with third string pts.)
SO the verdict seems to be out on Storm.
I also agree that SR Storm is next best after DR storm.
Then from there It's probably the old Vet, followed by the two experienced versions. Though I must say, the old experienced Storm was one of those pieces I never really even gave a passing glance to (until this review was voted on) and I was pleasantly surprised how the new game has made her a somewhat more viable piece!

I like SR Storm the best, but for cost effectiveness, nothing beats the Danger Room version. I really need to make up a Floor team with the DR version.

I just don't like Storm enough to invest 20 bucks into getting the SR. The DR will have to do for me I'm afraid unless I can get a trade for my SR Flash for her.

I like Super rare Storm the best she almost won me the pre release (curse you Apocalypse) I think she's the best because she is so pushable and DR Storm isn't
As a huge fan of Storm, I've tried to make nearly all work. 100 % pass on the Rookie Ultimate and LE.
Danger Room Storm is a bargain and extremely efficient.
SR Storm is a powerhouse, but in the extremely limited format of WWH, she can have a few problems - mainly stealth and the higher defenses.
Put her on a 400+ point team and she is incredible. I played her in a 600 point game (I'm not making this up - there are other games besides 300 points!) and she was awesome.
Great figure and close to perfection...
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
About the de-powering, did you know that the Neutralizer Forge built was his prototype based on the weapon of the same name, seen used by - (dun dun dunnn!) ROM, Spaceknight!?!
(C'mon, WK...give us a li'l Rom Lovin'! We'll do your dishes for it...)
I think she's the best because she is so pushable and DR Storm isn't
Oh, but she IS pushable! She has the X-Men TA, so you can push her, and one of her X-buddies can get her back to her click.
The DR Storm is my favorite Storm right now.... she's fabulous on a 300 point Floor team with the First Class X-Men and DR Angel. That leaves you 10 points for Inside Information, Armor Piercing, whatever. And it gives you two theme team PCs. I recently played in a 300 point 4-person brawl with this team, and it did quite well. I used Iceman and Marvel Girl as my X-batteries, keeping Storm and Cyclops near their top clicks... I intended to use Beast as a battery as well, but he ended up taking out three other figures! He's a, well, a beast...
(You have to use the "Mutant" keyword with them all, because Angel isn't doesn't have the X-Men keyword, he has the X-Factor keyword... d'oh.)
I haven't had the chance to play the SR Storm yet, mainly because I don't want to use her in a 300 point game.
