I love using Prime's Charge + Flurry with penetrating damage combo. Another funny thing is that whenever I use Prime in a fun game or a practice to see how he goes, he does great. But whenever I use him in a tournament he always seem to blow up right in my face.
I think I will have to give Superman Prime another chance in a tournament. He may actually be worth using after all.
Being a Chase figure, chances are, you don't have E-2 Superman, but as merely a Super Rare from Arkham Asylum, there is a possibility you have a Superman Prime. (Maybe even two!)

OFT.
Never pulled any chase Sups from 2 bricks and a bunch of boosters. Pulled Prime as my first AA SR from the first brick. So whether I want to or not, I'm not going to play E-2 (unless I manage to somehow find or win that $100+ for him), but I will probably play Prime, if only just for the fun of it.
Who needs X-ray vision?
Because Prime is not hindered by a Team Ability he never has to worry about Dissent, or other abilities that Cancel TAs. He also has a few nasty options available for Battle Field Conditions. For starters, Prime should always use the Disbanded! BF, and won't have to worry about a Mistrust penalty.
Although - if he had the Superman Enemy TA, he could be paired up with Mr. Mind w/ Compel to get you that extra attack during a turn. You would have a free outwit while you were at it. This could also happen if Prime was a wildcard.
Still, I would try to play Prime. I don't normally play with the finesse that the other experienced players talk about, but at least it would be a change from my usual way of playing.
Besides, the Super-Loner-whiner looks fun to play despite all the cons.
Now I wish I had one!!!

Skeets: "You'd spend it!!!" Keywords

You had me sold on this team until I realized it was 401 (Prime + Mind + Compel)

I didn't care for him at first, but reading these articles sure makes me want one now.
Would that work in a 500-point game? You would still have 99 points for other figures.
Every time Prime was compelled by Mr. Mind, Mr. Mind would take 3 feedback clicks.

E-2 is a Beast in Clix, and Prime is No Joke but Prime has the Invincible power that (Correct me if I'm Wrong)Psychic Blast goes right through. This is Prime's Achiles heel in my opinion. I still have to get my hands on an E-2. I'm a Supes hater but an avid Clix collector since the begining so E-2 is a must. Die son of Jor-El !!!!!!!!!
You are correct. Invincible does not protect damage from Psychic Blast, or EW.
