However, Incredible Hercules was again, amazingly cool. And after reading this issue... can we get Pak to write the Avengers and finally punt Bendis to the curb?

I mean, Pak gets the kibitzing and interplay a lot better, I think, than Bendis does.

PS - New Mutants wasn't that great. Uncanny was ok, but I think they're overdoing it with the whole "Cyclops is a brilliant strategist" thing. We get it already.

I don't think so, but it's weird.... the Phoenix force left Rachel Summers shortly before War of Kings, if I remember correctly. So apparently it's not leaving everyone all at once, but at random times? I'm assuming that it has something to do with Cable and Hope.

While I enjoyed reading the latest Ms Marvel on her date with Spiderman.

I wasnt happy when looking threw the Marvel previews the her next story arc is to be her last. Issues #48-50 will all be against Mystique and it will end the series.

While her sales may not be in the top 10, we dont need 30-something freaking X-titles or 20-ish Spiderman every dang month.

Marvel in my view over the last few years has slowly been losing respect. Majority of the artwork and storylines have been subpar at best.

Maybe DC is paying better or they just care more about there artists more. But the overall quality of there stories and art is better in most cases.

In any case when Ms Marvel ends I'll be down to only getting Captain America and Daredevil from Marvel. I may be excited to see Steve Rodgers returning as Cap, but the series isnt impressive to me. If it doesnt improve I will be canceling it and seeing if my local store want to buy them. Daredevil is the only one I wont end since I go back to the original #1 (1964).

Don't worry everyone will be turned into a zombie, 52 alternate marvel U's will converge, Cthulu will eat them all, then Sentry will sacrifice himself to reset the whole Universe. This means Daredevil will be back as a latino women; however.

Halo: Helljumper #5 of 5 - 9/10

The writing for this series was pretty good, with the team going from one over the top scenario to the next. It wrapped up well, and I started thinking I wouldn't mind reading this as a regular comic. The ODSTs do something the Spartans cannot, namely have personalities while still being uber bad-@##&#

The art was poor all series long, but Dutch and Romeo still tear it up big time.

Bendis' Halo mini was horrible, Peter David's was great. Say no to talking heads from random schmoes, and say yes to killing aliens in as many ways as possible! Thanks Peter David for actually 'getting' it.
