Bill is way better than I remember him being. His attack never goes below a 9! That's great! I might even put Elite Sniper on him to he can get the most out of his mid dial. He's got a load of keywords, pretty great damage potential, a long dial, and his incompatible powers are frustrating but versatile. Being an Asgardian (but not a deity) means that in higher point games he likely has a Valkyrie or three hanging around to let him get the most out of his 10 clicks.

Well, vet dial no,, exp more like it,, its a good steady dial,, but no pulse wave or penetrating damage more then 2 !? Keep in mind he kicks galactus heralds a$$e$,, as well as cracked the world devourers pretty face himself,, all in all,, ill play him jus cuzz he's beta ray bill ;)
Win/Loss 2-3: Beta Ray Bill is a decent ranged fighter who excels at being a secondary attacker. He doesn't have the chops to really lead a team effectively due to a soft and frustrating mid-dial. I want to be aggressive with Beta Ray but the lack of Indomitable and his dial design results in giving up something on every click. Push once and you lose Imperv. Second push loses RS, 11 attack, and his defense goes below average. Third push loses a damage reducer. He needs help and really, he needs a way to heal - and this is where Beta Ray can wreck havoc. His low defense coupled with his long life (Yes, Virginia, someone does have 10 clicks of life!!!) gives him a chance to get to his better clicks. And now his dial works on reverse - no matter when or where you heal him, he only gets better even if you heal for 1. Straight forward design makes him playable by all level of players, experienced and better players will get their money's worth while less experienced and casual players will find him frequently punched out fast.

Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
This beta ray bill is most excellent! I would play this version over the other version with a special anyway. Why? Better stats and powers. The other version has indomitable and a stealth enhancing special....but that inflates his cost. This version is a perfect balance of bills potential. 5 clicks of 4 damage, rce for 5 damage. Impervious, super senses (I never miss my super sense rolls) and alot of running shot. Honestly I like his end dial...his av spikes back up and he has options no matter what situation he's stuck in end game. If he has been based by multiple opponents then he can exploit them into oblivion. If there's a pesky outwitter sitting on elevated, bill can running shot him for two damage finishing him off or knocking him off of outwit. The only complaint is the lack if indomitable. The blank defense clicks could've been filled with willpower....also he can be outwitted fairly easy with only an 8 range.Protect your investment....and beta ray bill always will pull his weight.
Now that they are giving this guy a Legacy update I wonder what they’ll do?? If they keep him around 150 he’ll need a lot but 125 could work… possibly a trait of some kind, maybe something similar to the Weather Manipulation power… cosmic energy TA? Maybe a trait that lets him share combat values with a friendly Thor?
