Wow, I gots ta read this. Sounds like a ton happened. I'm surprised they got rid of Cryb. I felt like they were giving her alot of attention for some reason.
How would they have represented her child-stealing ways in clix, anyway?
A +2 to attack against Kids and Teens? haha
Well...
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Guy Gardner ripped off Cryb's arm and fed it to her.
I thought it was freaking awesome.

And my favorite GL is back! I was going to boycott DC had they kept him dead!
Anyway, is Kryb really dead? Yeah, Guy ripped one of her arms off, but he didn't disembowel her or anything. Maybe she's still alive (why make an action figure of her and just kill her off in comics like that? Actually, that's what I was thinking about Kyle's new action figure, too).
I was really sad that they killed off Vice last issue, though. He was one of my favorite Red Lanterns.

Maybe the Star Sapphire can revive him, too? Merge his heart with Kryb's, hehe.
I kinda saw it coming, though... since I knew Guy was going to become a Red Lantern and the only Red Lantern ring in the vicinity was Vice's. But how come he didn't become a Black Lantern instantly? How about Chaselon?
I think I am going to write-up full reviews this week. I'm not done reading my stuff, but from the ones I have read, two DC comics really blew me away (HINT: neither were Blackest Night titles).
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
GLC recap: Kyle's dead, so Guy flies off the handle and gets himself a new ring. Christmas Lantern, just in time for the holidays. Munk, Kilowog, and some of the other Lanterns run interference to keep the black rings away from Kyle, which kinda plays out like the old arcade game "Invaders". Kryb and Miri (the Star Sapphire) discover that Kryb's kidnapped babies are black lanterns, and Kryb flips out. Miri traps Kryb in rock candy and flies to Kyle and Soranik.
Kryb still hopes to save her babies, but Guy melts them into baby stew. Kryb's not happy, but she doesn't put up much of a fight before Guy disarms her. Meanwhile, Miri uses a love transfusion from Soranik to save Kyle (Sorry, she calls it an "infusion of love and will," but love transfusion sounds cooler). Kyle revives and reclaims his ring and decides to help recover his bromance with Guy. Mogo shows up to help, which marks one of the first times I've ever seen Mogo take the offensive. Nice.
Also, Guy is using Kryb as a bludgeon in the last shot of him. At least that's what it looks like.
Here's my issue with the most recent GLC. The stated reason that Mogo doesn't socialize is because if he traveled to Oa, his gravity would tear it up. That's what the original Mogo doesn't social story says.
And yet this story quotes the original by saying "I guess Mogo socializes after all." and Mogo goes to Oa. How can you ignore a story by quoting it?
If he does it plays into my theory that post BN their will be no more "Corps" just a number of Gl's with power but no more OA, Guardians or Central battery

Oh, and Mogo is so going to die.
NO SANTA LEFT BEHIND
Not Just Another Empty Political Slogan
The Black Lantern rings are pre-programmed to find certain people, maybe?
Considering the issue, yeah, they are preprogrammed. At one point in the issue you had about a hundred or so BL Rings screaming, "KYLE RAYNER OF EARTH!" with the other GLs trying to fend them off long enough to revive him.
(And, um, Kryb's arm got shoved slightly into her brainpan by Guy, so I'm presuming she's dead.)
