they can use an action before but not after, so have hal and sinestro hit running shot and animal man charge or flash use HSS and after that call them all back, or just keep deadman in the spawn so when the enemy tries to rush you or corner you (works best if you play defensively and wait for them) then hit when your cornered or swarmed and get out of there.
WIN/LOSS: 3-3 Deadman has a great sculpt and when I've faced him he has been a huge pain in the neck. However, for me, he has been a point sink not worth his cost. 20 defense in close - I'm either watching pieces breakaway and shoot or they have poison so he can't approach. Admittedly, I am not one to use BD nor WL teams, so he may be better for those keywords. As a "Deadman", he was a mediocre at best.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
His ability to call in other White Lantern Corps players?? I mean, holy heck, there’s some very powerful White Lantern Corps figures, and he can just call whichever ones he wants?? Do they stay on the board past their initial appearance? Is there a number limit (ex: I’m playing 300 point matches, can he call in more than 300 points worth of White Lantern Corps figures?) Do they start on their first clicks?? Wow..
He's not calling them in from off the board, he's just placing any that are already on the map next to him, a la the "Spider-Verse" traits that many of the Spider-Man Family pieces have.
